The Toyota Corolla is one of the best cars you can purchase. Why you may ask? It's because it has endurance, it saves you on gas (is gas efficient), and it's affordable. Some drawbacks I'll discuss on this car is that it's not stylish in appearance and that the horn location is not easy for a user to find.
Story
I remember taking this car to its first car washing place. It was a place where you can get detailed washing, not like the car washes at a gas station. It was a dusty car in the beginning, but once it went through the wash -- and one of the workers was nice enough to wipe shine on my front car lights -- the car suddenly looked as good as new! I was impressed and proud to own my car.
Pros
Toyota's endurance is one of the best things about this car. It can drive through the harshest of weathers, go over bumps with little problem, and handles well in most situations. I've never had a problem yet with this car. As for gas mileage, I can fill a tank of gas and drive on it for two weeks if I stick to driving to work, gym and a few other places. The gas doesn't get eaten up quickly, so it saves on your wallet. Lastly on the plus side, the price tag on this car is one that most people can easily afford. Cons
As for the drawbacks, I would like to see Toyota step up it's game in making the Corolla more attractive. I see many of these on the roads these days, and the look and style of them is just not appealing. Despite the price tag, I can see many young people still flocking to the more expensive cars if they have the upgraded style they like. The other drawback is the horn location. For the life of me (and maybe it's because I was previously driving a Honda Accord), I can never find that horn when I need to blow at someone! It's a little frustrating. When I first purchased my vehicle in 2004, I immediately had issues. The weather stripping around the windows was never right. Even after being replaced multiple times, water still got in when it rained. I had issues with my brakes from time to time, but the dealership was never able to replicate the issue so they didn't do anything to them. There have been SO many recalls on my car. At one point, I was without my car for almost two weeks because they were fixing various recalls. The majority of them involved the air bag and restraint systems. I actually received another recall notice last week - it's difficult for me to arrange a time to not have my car so it can be fixed. Story
Getting lost while driving to Alderman's Ford Park. What should have been a quick trip, ended up being an hour long joy ride. We sang songs and tried very hard to get the GPS to work.
Pros
My car is very comfortable and is quite roomy. It has clips in the backseat which allowed me to secure my child's car seat. The trunk is also very roomy and I can put a lot of things in it. The interior of the car has held up relatively nicely. The seatbelts and dash have faded some (thanks to the Florida sun) but no more than normal.
Cons
The paint job on my car, the interior lights/clock. It saddens me to know there is nothing I can do to fix the paint on my car. Even after a new paint job, the same rusting issue occurred.

I wouldn't necessarily call it "the best", but they were good overall. The salesman I dealt with wasn't pushy or over-talkative. He just let me drive the car, and he answered questions when I had them. That was nice because it felt more like I was buying the car rather than him trying to sell it. The purchase process was quick and low pressure, though the extra dealership fee ($700) was a bit high - that ought to be worked into the price of the car rather than slapping it on after.

I feel much more comfortable at this dealership than at any other I've been to. Usually I feel like the dealership is out to cheat me and doesn't care about my personal well-being, but not here! The staff is not pushy at all, and very courteous and helpful. I feel like I get the truth instead of what will just make them more money. Definitely would recommend to a friend!
