2014 Toyota Corolla - Good car for the money
I purchased a 2014 Toyota Corolla. I think this is a good looking vehicle and seems to be pretty sturdy. I have driven it up mountain passes and it has a good amount of jump for a little car. I am able to fit my family of 4 in comfortably and have had no issue so far. It is a bit loud while driving and the acceleration is sometimes a little high on RPMs which I was told is normal.
Story
I was able to drive to the casino with 3 large males comfortably, we had a great trip in this car and everyone liked it.
Pros
Price was right.
Good looking car.
Good size, able to fit 4 comfortably
Great gas mileage
Good pep, no problem on mountain passes.
Has been very reliable so far.
Cons
Loud while driving, a lot of noise from the street.
Acceleration is a little odd to me, kind of high on RPMs
Radio is not very user friendly
Windshield has a tint on it that bothers me at night while driving.
2009 Toyota Corolla - It is OK
Vehicle build quality and material quality is good. Engine and transmission is good. But sound insulations is not enough. There are problems with steering wheels and wheel alignment problems. Road view is good. It has air bag, abs safety features. It can have snow drive option on standard trim.
Story
Somehow head lamps switched on and it didn't off when I stopped the car. Same day evening my battery got drained and I have jump start it. There is no warning when I switched off the car.
Pros

engine is worth it
seat cushion are really good and good thigh support
good music system with aux and cd input
two charging port
good mileage on highways, around 30 m/g
Cons
Steering wheel problem at high speed.
Vehicle body pull at high speed
you can feel the road bumps inside the car
heating it takes time at peak winter
there is no remote lock in basic trims
second row leg room is not enough when three adults seated for a long journey
