Toyota Corolla Owner Ratings & Reviews

2010 Toyota Corolla - Great car, great price.
I love the price tag. It was about the same price as cars that I thought were inferior to it.
Story
Did a Florida road trip on less than 250 dollars from Chicago. I got in my car in an emergency and just started to drive.
Pros
The gas mileage is incredible. I fill up every payday, and I can do it usually with 20 dollars. Also, the car drives smooth, never any issues. In four years, I've had things fixed on it twice, and they were both minor issues. The leather trim hasn't faded like in my older car. The paint is still cool and hasn't chipped or faded. The RPMs are smooth, and the car never makes any noise. The stock sound system that it came with is loud and has a strong bass. Very high quality too—not a ridiculous amount of treble or static. It also comes with Siri inside, so I can enjoy that on long drives. Ve... (more)
Cons
If I had to give it some cons, I guess it might just be a little too small. Sometimes it won't fit all my groceries in my car and I have to put it in my backseat instead.
2005 Toyota Corolla - A trustworthy and economic smooth ride!
My Corolla was the first car that I drove out of a dealership with. I recently had a hand me down 1997 Toyota Corolla. The 2005 model is great and I still drive it. Although it looks a bit aged today, the ride is still fantastic. It's had one tire replacement and one brake replacement. I'm not really a "Car Enthusiast" so I won't compare it to other car models. I will say that for someone's first car purchase, Corolla is a lovely make to start with.
Story
I've had amazing conversations about Jesus in my car. Alone or with a friend. The Lord has always had been in the passenger seat.
Pros
The first thing I love about this car is the gas mileage. I usually pay an average of $25.00 for a fill-up. I'm not much of a traveler, but it's perfect for commuting to work. Another great part of this at is the size. I'm 6'2 and have no problem getting in and out of the vehicle. I know it's not for family trips, but mainly for commuting so the size is appropriate for this kind of model. I also really enjoy the ride. For living near Chicago, traffic could be the worst. Corollas are great for zipping down roads (at appropriate speeds of course).
Cons
One thing that could really improved on this make would be the seats. They're really not that comfortable after a long drive and seem a bit stiff at times. There's alternatives for additional cushions you could purchase but mainly look tacky when you add it to a car seat. Also body easily decays during the winter time. I've only had the vehicle for 4 years that the sides of the car have rusted during the winter time. I know it's hard to defend that while living in a place with some of the coldest winters but I feel like technology has a way to slow this down a bit.
