2006 Toyota Corolla - Reliable and efficient
I enjoyed this car for the entire time that I've had it. It isn't the fastest, strongest, or flashiest car, but it is very dependable, and cost effective. I'm not a car buff or into cars at all, I just need a vehicle that gets me where I need to go, and this car does it well. I have had little-to-no problems even though I've driven this car for more than ten years. It has lasted great, only cosmetic problems such as the paint started to peel. It gets great gas mileage, and if you ever need to get parts or repairs, this car model is one of the most common car types so you'll never run into a problem such as not being able to find the correct part or having expensive repairs. The only thing I've had to replace are normal things such as tires, transmission oil, etc. It's roomy and ... (more)
Story
I was able to take me and three other of my college roommates to a road trip to Mexico with this car. It was comfortable enough for my friends, and the cost was cheap in regards to gas money to get there.
Pros
It is very reliable, cheap, and efficient. You get good gas mileage, and if you need repairs, parts are easy to find for mechanics, and parts should be cheap compared to other, less common types of cars. For example, I know my aunt has a Lexus, which is the lowest model there is; I can't remember exactly what model. But she complained about all kinds of maintenance costs. With a Corolla, you don't have to worry about purchasing premium gas or paying more for tires, etc. It has lasted for over ten years, without any major problems. Another great aspect is that is retains its value pre... (more)
Cons
This car isn't the most powerful car there is. In fact, it is quite weak. This is especially apparent when going up hills or transporting heavy things in the car. You can tell it cannot accelerate that great in these conditions. Obviously, this means you cannot haul much either, like you could with a truck of course. The paint job didn't last very long. It started to peel after five or six years. One of my back windows also started to struggle to respond when I would try to roll it down or back up. I have to try and attempt to raise or lower the window a dozen times for it to go all ... (more)
2015 Toyota Corolla - Great economy car for everyday use.
I like that it has all of the features in looking for in a basic everyday car. For reliability I couldn't ask for anything better, as it is a 3-year-old model and has never needed any major maintenance other than oil changes and tire rotations. The entertainment features are nice and simple, with the ability to play music from a Bluetooth device while displaying track metadata. The fuel economy is great, and I love how easy it is to measure how much gas I'm using at any given time. The paint has also held up really well with no defects or blemishes after 3 years.
Story
I once took it into the mountains and got lost on a dirt road. The car ended up getting stuck, and we had to pull it out with a wench.
Pros
Before driving the Corolla, I had a larger SUV, and out of the many brands of compact cars I tested, I found the handling of the Corolla to have a very similar feel to that of my previous vehicle. I feel like I am I control behind the wheel and have a solid feel for turning maneuvers and acceleration. I also like the way the seats and steering wheel sit so that I get a good view of what's ahead. The Bluetooth features are also nice and easy to pair and play music from just about any device, plus having a dedicated usb charger makes it easy without having to get an adapter.
Cons
The interior seats stain too easily. I went with a model featuring lighter interior fabric, and I hate that even spilling water or condensation from a bottle will leave rings on the seats. The back-up camera quality could be a little bit higher resolution, and better low light performance would be nice when trying to back up at night. I typically average 38-39 mpg around town, but I would have preferred the car to get 40+ mpg for everyday driving like it does on the highway. I also wish Toyota put more effort into supporting non-Apple devices for advanced features like Android Auto or show... (more)

2013 Toyota Corolla - Miller Toyota Of Anaheim
First, I like the ease with which a shopper can go online and look at their current offerings online. This made it simple to determine what inventory they had on hand. It was also helpful that I was able to then immediately go back and forth with someone via email on a car that I was interested in. Finally, the individual who I actually made the deal with in person was very easy to work with. I also enjoyed the finance person as well.

I like that they are great on their pricing. They are Christian owned company and I am very religious so that is a great thing to know. They are very friendly and close to my home. They don't pressure you into buying anything you do not want. I also love Toyotas and Hondas.
