As a former truck and SUV driver, I was a little hesitant to buy a car. I drive an hour to get to school, so it seemed logical to buy a car with great gas mileage. My 2013 Corolla gets great gas mileage and is great on highways. I am very impressed. The motor is powerful and the drive is very comfortable. The built in flat screen is great. It allows me to talk to people on the phone hands free. It also has a great display for radio stations.
Story
The drive to and from school (1 hour away) goes by so fast in my Corolla. I have named her, Lola, the Corolla. She makes my commute quick, and painless. I am able to listen to podcasts through the Bluetooth, or NPR or other radio stations on the radio. I can call my parents on the Bluetooth as well. All of these things help my commute to go by quickly.
Pros
I love how comfortable the seats are. The seats have great back support. Everything about being in the drivers seat is comfortable. The steering wheel is sleek, the shift knob fits perfectly in my palm. The gas mileage is amazing, I love filling up the tank of gas for $20 or less. The trunk is very big as well. I used my Corolla to move from one house to another and I was impressed with how much stuff I could fit inside.
Cons
I don't have many negative things to say about my car. The only thing I can think of is I don't enjoy getting out of my car because it is so low to the ground. This is an issue for all cars though. As a former truck/SUV driver, this is simply something I need to get used to.

I got this car as a hand me down from my parents right before our 2nd child was born, and I have to say it is the perfect family car! First of all, there is plenty of room in the backseat to put two car seats and all of the baby gear we could ever need, which is a far cry from what my old car had. The trunk is nice and roomy as well. The Corolla also has amazing gas mileage, as it is a hybrid. It has Bluetooth integration as well as great speaker system and auxiliary input so I can plug in my iPhone and play music. The body style looks sleek, but the car is definitely sturdy enough to withstand an accident and protect my babies and me inside. It has a very nice looking leather interior as well. Story
My parents decided to give this car to us as a gift. I was so excited that I jumped up and down and started getting contractions. I think my joy from getting this car sent me into labor.

Safety, gas mileage, Bluetooth integration, excellent stereo system, room in the trunk and backseat
Cons
Ugly wheels, not enough power for someone who wants to drive fast
