This is my second Toyota Corolla I bought brand new. The other year I bought was a 2005. I also owned a used Toyota Corolla before that which was a 1992. All in all this is a reliable car with low maintenance costs and has fairly good gas mileage. The style of the vehicle is somewhere in the middle. It looks fairly sporty but not as sporty as I would like it. I'm unsure I will ever buy another one only because I've driven the Corolla's for so long that I really need something different and they seem to be making them cheaper.
Story
My car is always the go to car for me and my friends to drive around and listen to music!
Pros
Good gas mileage. I haven't had to put much money in the car for maintenance purposes since I bought it. Only needed brakes and tires and an O2 sensor replacement and it has 120,000 miles on it. The car is pretty compact but my 6'4" husband can fit in it pretty good and I also like that I can park in smaller parking spots. It was cheap to buy brand new. It also has a good sound system for stock speakers along with an AV hookup for your phone.
Cons
I think this car was made with cheaper parts than previous years' models. We still own the 2005 model of the same exact car with over 200,000 miles and I still think that one feels a little better driving it. No Bluetooth :(

I like the design of the car and the color (silver). It is a great base car for the price, but could include more features such as navigation or blind spot mirrors. It is comfortable and practical for a new driver like myself. The trunk has a good amount of space, but could be bigger. It had enough room for my stuff moving up to Boston. It feels safe on the highway. I bought it used at 28,000 miles and it feels like new.
Story
I drove this to the beach with my friends in Massachusetts. It was great to have the windows down, radio up and just jamming on the highway.
Pros
The color and design are definitely top favorite things for me. The pedals are not as sensitive as luxury cars, which is a plus for me as a new driver. It is cloth, rather than leather, so it doesn't get hot in the summer. It has plenty of space for other passengers.
Cons
The air conditioning unit could cool faster. I wish that it had better gas mileage. It is a very base model of the car, and it could use some more special features. I wish it had navigation in it because sometimes my phone doesn't work as GPS. The glove compartment broke within the last year of having it, and will probably be expensive to fix.
