I purchased current Toyota Corolla because I loved my previous Corolla (a '93 model). I don't have the same kind of love for my '09, but I appreciate that it gets me from point A to point B with no issues. It has substantially better gas mileage than my last car, an '03 Subaru Legacy sedan. I frequently average 33 mpg. The seats are comfortable for my passengers, and even somewhat tall people are able to sit in back without complaint. I like the hidden 12V receptacle in the center storage compartment. Having two glove boxes is convenient for sorting out my belongings. I haven't used it much, but I appreciate that the rear seats fold down so that I can have sufficient storage space if I need more than what my trunk can hold.
Story
I usually pick my wife up from work. I love driving to get her right around sunset. Cruising down the freeway and seeing all the beautiful colors in the sky is very calming.
Pros
The gas mileage is definitely my favorite thing about this vehicle. I like not having to fill the tank constantly. The dash has several useful features, including current miles per gallon, average miles per gallon, and average speed in addition to time and weather. The car is simple without unnecessary frills. I have automatic windows and door locks, but no remote key fob.
Cons
I dislike that the radio failed. It began displaying what the service tech called "hieroglyphics" and the buttons stopped functioning correctly. Fortunately I had an extended warranty and was able to get a new radio under warranty. Also, while the gas mileage is nice, it comes at the expensive of a less powerful engine. This is typically only a problem on steep hills.

The Toyota corolla is a reliable little car that can take a small family anywhere they need to go and save a lot of money on gas. The excellent gas mileage averages around 36 miles per gallon on the highway. The car has enough legroom for four people to sit comfortably around town. The car is also extremely easy to drive and you can take it into the tightest of parking lots.

I drove very quickly through a winding road to test the vehicle's handling capability.
Pros
This car gets excellent gas mileage and has decent power for doing so. The build quality is top notch and is a very reliable car. After owning the car for five years, no interior rattles developed despite being driven in the city over rough roads on a daily basis. Replacement parts are also very easy and cheap to come by, making this car a very affordable car to own.
Cons
The seats are not the most comfortable for longer trips. The seats are extremely firm and do not offer much adjustment. Also, a loud rattle would sporadically occur on startup. Lastly, the transmission was only a 4 speed automatic which would rev fairly high when cruising down the highway.
