The 2003 Toyota Camry was and still is the best car out there. The fact that it is approximately 14 years old, still runs, the leather interior still looks good, has had no major recalls or catastrophic failures of any major engine part - means it stands the test of time. With so many choices out there (old and new), it is a tremendously reliable car. One that can outlive many "younger" cars out on the road.
Story
Daughter threw up in it on vacation—but it was easy to clean! Leather seats cleaned up nicely. She was complaining and complaining she didn't feel good. But we were on vacation and had to get from point A to point B. Sure enough—she got sick. So whenever the family is talking about our vacations... this one sticks out because we will always remember her getting sick in the car! Nothing l... (more)
Pros
Exterior look - very sleek, car. Not too big. Not too small. Excellent for a family of five. Lots of cargo space and tons of little nooks to keep things out of sight. Comfortable seats, especially in the back. Safety features.
Cons
Its age. Old cars are old. Sure they might not have the latest GPS installed or Bluetooth for the latest gadgets and phones. It's a car.

I liked that the vehicle was very dependable. It was great on gas, cheap on maintenance, parts were easy to find for it and it didn't cost a lot to repair either. It was an all around vehicle. Because many of the parts were so general and easy to find, most aftermarket products worked with it. Toyota is a very good brand in my opinion so my money went a long way. I had the car for ten years after purchasing it with over 80,000 miles to begin with. It's been through repairs, accidents, cross-country trips, and so much more.
Story
A lot of memories, going to college and taking it with me. A lot of crazy stories from college, but to keep it short, it's been everywhere with me and is like part of the family.
Pros
Reliable, common, compatible with most aftermarket products, great on gas, safe, plenty of space on the inside, aged well, cheap, durable.
Cons
Lots of miles. All the parts of the car went out at once (it was so dependable that when repairs were finally needed, everything needed to be repaired as well). Everyone wants a new car. My Toyota was a four cylinder. It was fairly sluggish.
