2010 Toyota Camry - A pretty good car.
I purchased this car about 4 years ago as a used car. Since I've purchased this, I haven't really had any major issues with the car. I always drives nice. It has quite a bit of miles on it already and still runs quite smooth. I make sure to take care of the car, with normal oil changes and fluid changes. There really aren't things that stick out that I could say that I don't like about the vehicle. I'm not really a car guy, so as long as I get from point A to point B in a nice temperature car, than I like it.
Story
I took a road trip with my boyfriend from Florida to Georgia and then to South Carolina. This was a very fun trip that we kind of just did as a random road trip. Making lots of fun stops at weird random places. It was a very fun trip and there were no issues with the car.
Pros
It doesn't break down (at least not yet). It gets me to everywhere I need to get to. I haven't had to put very much money into it. Its easy to get the oil and oil filter (I can even change it myself). I like the interior of the vehicle and the standard speakers that came with the car. I can blare my music and the speakers still sound quite well. It gets quite good gas mileage, especially when driving on the interstates.
Cons
I have had to change the tires on this car quite a few times already. I'm not sure if this is because of the car itself or if its because of the tires that I keep buying. I usually buy tires that are slightly used, so this could be why I have to change them so often. I sometimes feel like I have to change my oil more often than most other cars. This I am sure is the car itself and not something that I am doing. However, these things are quite minimal.
2014 Toyota Camry - Reliable and dependable
My Toyota Camry is the single best purchase I have ever made. I bought it brand new as my first car. I learned to drive in it and earned my license on it. It has never failed me. Whenever I go to start it, it starts and runs smoothly. Everything in the car just works. Some may say it has no soul. But I disagree. If the 2014 Toyota Camry was a person, it would be that one friend who is not particularly exciting or good looking. They are not ugly or boring, just average. But, they are always there. They are always there to help you no matter what. I got into my first car crash in my Camry. It was a front passenger side bumper impact. It completely destroyed the bumper and jammed the door. Story
I used this car on my first date and ended up meeting the love of my life. I am currently engaged to her and still have my car form our first date.
Pros
Reliability is a huge plus. The Camry will always start and run like it is supposed to. The breaks are solid. Plenty of stopping power. The manual controls ensure reliability and longevity for the A/C. The standard sound system is great for what it is. It's by no means going to blow anyone else away, but it's solid. Plenty of trunk space, even without lowering the back seats.
Cons
Some could find this vehicle boring to drive. It's not designed to be exciting, and many people should know this going in. Could use some more storage areas inside the passenger compartment.
