1998 Toyota Camry - A sturdy and reliable machine
The Camry, in my opinion, has always been a solid ride. It's been in the family since my early college years and is still on the roads 15 years later, which I personally think is remarkable. If I can describe the car in one word, it would be durable. Out of the many years of owning it, I have only ever needed to have it serviced once and that was due to an accident.
Story
I think the most memorable thing about the car for me was when I first purchased it and drove home. I think it was the best feeling ever as a teenager driving his first car.
Pros
The car is reliable, durable, cost efficient, and handles very well.
Cons
It may have looked good 20 years ago, but compared to more modern looking cars, it's extremely ugly. So if you are the type of guy or girl that needs their car to look great, then this is not the car for you.
2006 Toyota Camry -
I nicknamed my car the silver bullet. Although it's lost its interior quality over time, I still love the car. It handles the snow well, never gives me an issue starting in the cold, and I have driven farther than I should have on E with no issue.
Story
Trying to do donuts with the e-break on while driving over an ice patch at New Era Field at 4 am on Christmas morning. Came way too close to hitting a few light polls.
Pros
Miles per gallon, overdrive feature, cruise control.
Cons
The interior has started to fall apart. Sunlight has blotched/scorched some of the leather seat, and the speaker covers have eroded as well.
