My Toyota is very reliable. I bought this car used from a dealer under the auspices that it was a Le. I realized after buying it that it was a base model Camry. The value dropped in my eyes but I didn't complain because it was still a nice car with a good reputation. The car had close to 120K miles but it has lived up to its reputation. There hasn't been a single rattle or knock, and I have driven the car over 25K miles since I've had it over a year ago, and I have only had to replace the tires. The car rides very smoothly. I also have 2 young children with big car seats, and there's still plenty of room to fit another friend in the middle. The legroom is great in the front and the back seats; I have long legs so leg room is very important to me. The trunk allows me to get plenty of gr... (more)
Story
I had recently been hired to babysit and take 2 children to Stone Mountain Park. When I got to the site, I had to take 3 children, I already had 2 with car seats in the back. I took out one of the car seats, made sure everyone was buckled up (shared seatbelt) and 4 children were soon in the back seat happily playing together. Issue resolved. Thanks Toyota!
Pros
Everything. Very comfortable ride. Love the extra charging outlets and auxiliary plug. Love the 16 gallon fuel tank and the excellent gas mileage.
Cons
The only negative is that when I sharply press on the pedal to go faster it has a slight "hesitation" before it speeds up. This has just started happening over the last few months. I would have preferred leather seats with the base model.

I have driven my Toyota Camry since I was 17 years old. My dad drove the car for a few years before I received it, but it was still basically brand new. The car has been so reliable and held up well over the years. I drove it during high, school, college, and it has even survived my 85-lb. black lab as a passenger for the last five years. Last year I had to take my car to a repair shop for the first time in 10 years of driving the car. It needed a new alternator, but it only cost $250. Besides regular maintenance, $250 divided over the course of 10 years is not bad! All other parts of the car are still going strong too. When I took my car in for the oil change a few months ago, the mechanic said it looked like my car could run for another 10 years. My car has over 150,000 miles on it, ... (more)
Story
Once, my friends and I found a lost dog and drove around town searching for the dog's house so that we could return it to the owner.
Pros
Its reliability. I have never had to worry about my car being able to start or breaking down on a long trip.
Cons
I'm not a fan of the paint color, and some of it has started to peel away on the bumper after someone scraped it.
