2000 Toyota Camry - Spacious, durable car
It was my first car, and for the amount of time that I spent not taking care of it, it has lasted me more than 10 years. It has never broken down in the years that I have it. Sometimes I wish that it would break down so I could have a reason to get a new car. I like how it is very spacious for a two-door car. The back can easily fit three people with a lot of rooms, unlike other two-door cars that I know. The only thing I don't like about it is it has two doors, which makes it a bit inconvenient for people to get in and out of the car. Another thing I like about this car is that it has 15-gallon gas tank, which means that I only go to the gas station once a week. I've been told many times that my car's A/C. is really fast to blow cool air, and it can get really chilly, which is great f... (more)
Story
I was one of the first ones to own a car amongst my friends, plus my car could fit everyone very comfortably, so I was always picking people up and dropping them off. So naturally when I went home, it was usually 2 or 3 AM. Driving the car alone in a dark road in Escondido with music blasting loud, I felt invincible and therapeutic.
Pros
My favorite features of this car is spacious room in the back and big gas tank size. It is also very durable.
Cons
It has two doors, which made it inconvenient. It is a little longer than your average car.
2000 Toyota Camry - Great car!
Love Toyota's! Have owned several over the years and can't say enough about them. They are dependable cars, good on gas and repairs. My first Toyota was a 1977 Corolla. I put three motors in that car and gave it to my son as his first car. It would still be going if it was not totaled in an accident. The Camry I own now was purchased brand new and it is still going strong. Have done minor repairs and regular service on it and it is still running strong. I would recommend Toyotas to my friends and family anytime. My son and daughter-in-law are looking at Toyotas now after owning a VW Jetta TDI and having to deal with the issues of the recall on their diesel car.
Story
Drove to Arizona with my son for vacation, went from the Grand Canyon to Tombstone. Love the gas mileage and the comfort of driving this car. We had a fantastic vacation, took a lot of pictures, had good food, saw the state from top to bottom. Would take a vacation with this car very dependable.
Pros
The most positive thing in owning this vehicle is the gas mileage and low repairs. I have driven the wheels off this vehicle and it is still going strong. Has more than 200k and the motor is still going strong. I love the trunk room that allowed me to put my mother's wheelchair in with no problems. Also, the full size spare tire that came with the vehicle. Five people can sit inside comfortably, and if my grandson's car seat is in back two adults can still sit with plenty of room. The leg room for the front and back is great, do not feel cramped at all. The gas mileage is great - have take... (more)
Cons
The top negative thing about this vehicle is the cost of the emissions parts. It is very expensive to replace some of the parts in the emissions to pass smog in Southern California. Another negative issue is the power windows. The control stopped working on the passenger side and could not roll up the window. Had to replace both drivers and passenger side controls to get the windows to work. I can't think of anything else I have had difficultly with on this vehicle.

2014 Toyota Corolla - Claremont Toyota
I really enjoyed visiting this dealership after being treated miserably by a competitor down the road. As a first time buyer, other dealerships did not take me seriously. However, at Claremont Toyota, they listened to all of my concerns and placed me with a car in my budget, with all of the features I wanted, and sat with me for hours as I made the decision. Definitely would recommend! They weren't pushy at all either which made it that much nicer in the end, because I felt as though I was truly making the best decision.
