2006 Toyota Camry - Love this car.
I love this car so much, that when I wrecked my previous 2006 Camry, I went right out and bought the exact make, model, and color again to replace it. It currently has about 122,000 miles on it, but runs as well as it did when I bought it fifty thousand miles ago. It has a smooth ride for a "basic" sort of car, and pretty decent pick up (it does have a V6 in it). Over the 8 years I've owned two of these cars, I've had very few maintenance issues. The only thing I had to fix was a set of hoses that wore out and started leaking. It is a little old, and doesn't have some of the new fangled features like blue tooth and navigation, but heck it has a tape deck and a CD player and that works for me! I love the appearance of this car. It is roomy and classy on the inside, and attractive on the... (more)
Story
First iteration got smashed on both sides in the middle of a five car pileup on I-40 near Cary. It totaled the car according to the cost of repairing the damage, but heck if I didn't get right back in and drive it home no problem.
Pros
Reasonable size (roomy but fits in a parking space easily). Rough (still rolling strong after 120,000 miles). Pretty. Affordable (low base price but also reasonable for repairs and replacements). Smooth drive. Visibility.
Cons
Low undercarriage. My only complaint about this car is that it scrapes on my driveway (we live on a hill) every day.
2015 Toyota Camry - Great car that lasts.
The Camry that I bought has been one of the greatest car purchases that I have made. The durability of this car is fantastic. We have driven over 35,000 and haven't had any problems with the car at all. The inside is made of leather and very luxurious. We have spilled things, but the leather seats do allow for a nice bit of clean up and things don't stain. The car is large enough to fit five people comfortably when driving. The Camry drives very smoothly and is a beautiful car on the inside and out. I couldn't recommend this car enough.
Story
We piled in the car at Christmas time one evening to go and look at the Christmas lights in our area. The car was so comfy and warm. We had a great time.
Pros
One of the things that I love most about the car is how much the trunk holds! We shop in bulk for our family, and I love that everything can fit in the trunk when we're shopping. The gas mileage on the car is amazing. We drive about 400 miles every week, and we only have to fill up once a week! We chose the car because we want to start a family soon, and there is plenty of room in the backseat for car seats and booster seats. It's definitely spacious and practical for a family. The features of the car are nice too. The Bluetooth connection works flawlessly, and we love having electronic ke... (more)
Cons
We have learned that we have to keep things well lubricated, otherwise every time you turn the wheel, it makes a loud screeching sound. Other than that, we don't have any complaints.
