2002 Toyota Camry - Great, reliable car
I LOVE this car. I have had it for 2 years after purchasing it from my mom's boss who was the only other owner of the car, I am sure he had taken great care of it, but even with 250,000+ miles it only requires occasional maintenance and is a great car for my daily commute to work and school. I find this car truly reliable, I know I will never be late to classes or to my job when I have this car because the check engine light comes on before something goes wrong, and when the car does occasionally need maintenance it is always an inexpensive and easy fix. The only problem I have had is the trim on the window started bending off but that was easily fixed by inserting a screw, you barely even notice it and compared to the car troubles my friends have with their cars it is such a minor fla...

The only problem I have had is the trim on the window started bending off but that was easily fixed by inserting a screw, you barely even notice it and compared to the car troubles my friends have with their cars it is such a minor flaw. I highly recommend this car. It is stylish, compact, GREAT on gas, and just looks nice in general, it is the perfect car for a 22 year old college student. I cannot begin to explain how awesome it is to have a car that only takes $40 to fill the gas tank once a week in a state like CT where the gas prices are close to $3/gallon.
I am in marching band at the university of Connecticut and have used my vehicle many times for transporting band kids and their instruments to/from rehearsal. Many memories have been made in my car during those times.

Some of my favorite features on this car include the fact that there is a very spacious trunk, I do marching band in college and we are able to squeeze 5 large instrument cases in the trunk after rehearsal, as well as comfortably seat 3 people in the back seat, the driver, and the passenger. It is a great car for transporting people in, and has definitely made me a lot of friends since I can give them rides and fit all of their stuff. Another great thing about this car is how reliable it is. It almost never has anything go wrong with it. Of course I keep up with it, with regular oil changes and getting it inspected every once in a while, but I have never had any major issues with it. The car is fine for driving in the snow, I am a delivery driver and I have driven it through long, cold Connecticut winters in rain, snow, sleet, and straight up ice. I would recommend using snow tires on it in the winter to help with traction since it is not 4 wheel drive, but the snow tires are not too expensive and definitely worth the investment.
The car is only two wheel drive which makes it hard to get out of snow and ice in the winter, but that is to be expected and not so much the cars problem as it is the fact that my apartment complex does a horrible job plowing. You really shouldn't expect excellent performance in the snow from a small, two wheel drive car anyways. Having snow tires on my vehicle did help a lot with traction and of course once the car was dug out of the ice and snow I had no problem driving it as long as the snow was not compounded around the tires. You really shouldn't expect excellent performance in the snow from a small, two wheel drive car anyways. Having snow tires on my vehicle did help a lot with traction and of course once the car was dug out of the ice and snow I had no problem driving it as long as the snow was not compounded around the tires. One problem I had with the car was minor but annoying, the trim around the window on the drivers side somehow came undone and stuck out pretty far, which was further made worse by my jacket always getting caught on it while I was exiting the vehicle. The problem was resolved fairly easily by simply placing a screw through the trim into the door. Another small problem is with my antifreeze, it is always very low in the reservoir, but my car doesn't overheat and I check it regularly just to make sure that there is some in there.
