1995 Toyota Camry - Everybody tells me the Toyota Camry LE just keeps on going.
I love the roominess of the back seat and the fact that the seat drops down. The trunk of the car is also very large. I use it to carry my musical equipment, and it fits everything just fine. The apparent small size of the car is very deceiving given the amount of room there is inside. There is a feature in the door lock that makes it so you can unlock one or all the doors at once from the driver-side door. Turn once for the front, driver-side door and twice for all doors. Although it only has 4 cylinders, the vehicle has a lot of power and is a fun car to drive.
Story
I had the a-frame repaired, which is one of the reasons why the person I bought it from sold it, and it took a while for me to realize I no longer had to expect it to drive the way it used to before the repair, i.e. metal-on-metal noise going over bumps and pulling to the right side after changing gears. Pros
The Toyota Camry LE has good gas mileage and is easy to handle. I like the cubby holes to place your drinks and accessories, which all hide away and pull out when I need them. The trunk carries a full-sized bass guitar in a hard case width-wise comfortably and much more than that.
Cons
The only negatives I can find about the Toyota Camry LE involves the repairs and work I want to have done to it. The negatives definitely don't come from any features in the vehicle that I feel I'm missing.
2009 Toyota Camry - Reliable
I bought my Camry about 6 years ago. I really like the quality products that Toyota makes. The reliability is very impressive also. The finishes are nothing fancy but the materials have held very well despite of the use. I have almost 100,000 miles on it, and it runs the same as the day I bought it. The look of the design is slick and simple.
Story
I live in Vegas and cars tend to get really hot during summer. My son had left a lollipop in the car while we went to the movies and, by the time we came back, it had completely melted on the floor. To this day the red stain is still a reminder of how hot it can get inside the car.
Pros
I love the color, white hides dirt very well, and I can get a way without washing for a while. The tan interior stays fairly clean and it's easy to clean up messes if necessary. The trunk space is decent and gas consumption is fairly good. The upgraded wheels make it look a bit more sophisticated.
Cons
There are quite a few of Camrys out there so you are not going to stand out in the crowd. This car is simple and unpretentious, it has no bells or whistles and you definitely won't be turning heads. Some parts tend to look and feel flimsy. The seats could be a bit more comfortable for long trips. The audio components are not the best in the market.
