2008 Toyota Camry - The Toyota Camry - a reliable, great car
I bought my 2008 Toyota Camry a couple of years ago. When I bought it, it had 100,000 miles on it. However, the previous owner had taken great care of it, and so it came to me in immaculate condition. Since owning this car, I have had no maintenance problems with it. It runs great and has great gas mileage. I made it from Indianapolis to Milwaukee on a half tank of gas! I know that I can always count on my Camry.
Story
We took the car to the drive-in movie theater once. It was a great time, and the speakers worked really well!
Pros
My favorite things about the Toyota Camry are hard to narrow down. The interior is very comfortable and well laid out. I am easily able to access anything I need in the car, and the seats are incredibly comfortable. Additionally, there is great visibility, and I don't feel like I have a huge blind spot when I am driving. It also has a lot of "get up and go," which makes it pleasurable to drive. It drives smooth. It gets a great turning radius. Overall, it is just a reliable car that doesn't break down, lasts for a long time with well made parts, and makes me happy.
Cons
The negative things about the vehicle are pretty minimal. For example, the aux cord port is a bit hard to plug a cord into because it is tucked back in a storage area in the dash. The car is also much wider than it looks, so you have to be sure that you keep that in mind when you are parallel parking. My car also does not have the capability for an automatic locking/unlocking device, which is a bummer. The front lights also get dim pretty quickly.
2008 Toyota Camry - Reliable and comfortable.
I love my Toyota Camry. The Camry runs well and needs very little maintenance. It is a smooth drive. My Camry currently has 195,000 miles on it and runs just like it did at 20,000 miles. The interior is spacious and the visibility makes me feel very safe while driving. The outside of the car has a nice look to it and is very appealing to the eye.
Story
I took my vehicle on a road trip with my husband. We went to Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City. We also stopped at Niagara Falls. We slept in the Camry two of the nights and felt safe and warm. We did not experience any driving issues with it on the trip, which was driving for >30 hours total!
Pros
One of the best things about the Camry is its gas mileage. I went on a 5 hour trip on a half tank of gas! I also think it is incredibly comfortable to travel in. Additionally, it runs great, has good acceleration and break control. The ceilings are also tall which makes the interior feel spacious. It also requires very little maintenance and I have not had it break down. The seats are also very easy to clean.
Cons
The Camry is a bit wide which can make it difficult to park when you first get it. It also does not have a sun roof which I wish that it had. It also does not have heated seats which I wish I had. My particular year also does not have the ability to get an automatic lock/unlock device that goes on my keys, so I have to insert my key into the door every time I would like to lock or unlock the car.
