2005 Toyota Camry - Reliable vehicle.
Toyota Camry is one of the most reliable vehicle in the world. Body size is also favorable to many and comfortable as well. Most important thing is mileage. It can afford above 200K miles. Engine is very good and smooth. No problems in engine if you take care of its parts timely.
Story
My friend bought a Toyota Camry that has above 250k mileage. He ran it up to 300k. And so he used to say Toyota Camry is a life-long car.
Pros
Very reliable. One can drive up to 200K miles without doubt. Comfortable seats. As comparison to durability and performance, it is cheap. No timing chain in 2005 Camry, so no tension to change it. All weather suitable car. Music system. A/C is very good. Interior of car is very nice. Headlight is very good.
Cons
Most people want it . So it is very difficult to find. Due to low availability, it is comparatively expensive as far as used Toyota. Repair cost is also high. It is not that much luxurious car.
Trunk is not enough for huge loads. I do not like windshield of this car. It take lots of fuel that costs a lot in comparison to other cars. These days hybrid cars are available that can run more then 50 mile per gallon.
2002 Toyota Camry - Toyota Camry is an okay first or second car.
The 2002 Toyota Camry has been reliable and easy to maintain. I enjoy its smooth ride and decent gas mileage. It isn't the most powerful car on the market, but for beginner drivers, it is quite suitable. I have used my Camry to drive around town for four years now. It is still holding up and feeling quite comfortable. I take it in to the dealership every year for a check up and oil change -- using vouchers to essentially get free service! It's been a good time with this car. Next time I go I have to ask the mechanics about the car's internal wiring, because it seems to be having some problems, and it is messing with the electronics, such as the radio or the service lights.
Story
One time a few years ago, I had an impromptu adventure to drive to a city two hours away from home to visit a friend in the middle of the night. I ended up driving back on the same night, during a strong rainstorm. I couldn't see five feet in front of me! It was quite intense, but I made it through.
Pros
Smooth, comfortable ride. Decent gas mileage.
Cons
Doesn't feel very powerful. Internal wiring issues.
