1998 Toyota Camry - Most Reliable Car I've Ever Owned
This car has been reliable and has required minimal maintenance throughout the years. It's already more than fifteen years old at this point, but still runs like it's brand new. The build quality is very good. These cars are known for their reliability. I have had to replace a battery or two, the belts (due to the age of the vehicle), a couple tires, and that's about it! It is a cheap car to own, and it has stood the test of time. For how old it is, it looks pretty luxurious. It even has a spoiler on the back!
Pros
The car is extremely reliable and has given me minimal problems. I have spent very little in maintenance fees. It gets fairly good gas mileage.
Cons
It's not the most flashy car. It is beginning to look a bit dated. Modern cars get better gas mileage and have better safety features.
1999 Toyota Camry - Great commuter car
The car drives amazingly smoothly for it being a 1999, no excessive rattling or vibrations in the city or on the highway. I have only had to do minor repairs, valve cover gaskets, spark plug wires, etc and has not needed any major repairs.
Story
I was able to drive my step son down to Louisville from Indianapolis with no hesitation. Many older cars would have died halfway on 65.
Pros
I love the reliability of this car, it has never broken down. I can always rely on it to get me to work without issue. The power seats are very nice to make adjustments easily while driving. The car has a surprisingly large trunk, I've been able to put 4 tires in it, stereo equipment, and even haul some landscaping timbers after laying down the backseat.
Cons
Many things seem to be getting rusted over the years.
