2005 Toyota Camry - Dependable and versatile transport
My Camry has nearly 100,000 miles on it and has had very few problems; other than routine maintenance, this car has been a breeze to care for and own. It has a smooth and comfortable ride for passengers and cargo alike. I have taken it on many road trips and it performs well on the highway and even in the mountains with decent acceleration. The interior storage compartments are numerous and useful. There are even 2 cigarette lighters so I can charge my phone and plug in my AM/FM transmitter at the same time. There are also volume controls on the steering wheel that are handy, and the mirrors, seat, and steering wheel are all fully adjustable. Story
Went camping at a Michigan state park with my dog and my husband.
Pros
Dependable - very few maintenance and performance issues, it runs well!
Storage - the trunk is spacious and the interior has many helpful compartments for storing things
Roomy - comfortable even for passengers in the back seat
Gas mileage - 25-35 miles per gallon
Cons
Sound system could be better. Speakers are easy to blow out and rattle.
There is no input for music devices. You need CDs, radio, or an accessory to play from an iPod or phone.
2007 Toyota Camry - A good car for a good price
I have a silver 2007 Toyota Camry. The car is comfortable, smooth driving, quick enough, and runs without issue. I enjoy getting in the car to drive to and from school every day, and it has yet to cause me any trouble. The good fuel economy helps too.
Story
I had an enjoyable time driving the car to and from Chicago with my girlfriend, as it was a fun trip. The car drove without issue and was surprisingly comfortable for how long the trip was.
Pros
The car was priced well and has a well-functioning Bluetooth connection. It looks nice and is pleasant to drive around. I get an average of 22 mpg city and 33 mpg highway in it, so the car is also reasonably fuel efficient for its age. I appreciate that it can fit five people comfortably within it with all of their things in the trunk. It also has ample trunk space, fitting all my groceries, sports equipment, and other things without issue.
Cons
The worst thing about the vehicle is the paint job. The silver paint shows any and all flaws very easily, and scratches very easily. The car has a broken trunk, so the only way to open it is via the key remote. Not being able to open the fuel door from outside the vehicle is also a nuisance every time I go to fill the car with gas.
