1995 Toyota Camry - Old and outdated.
The gas mileage was pretty decent. For the price of the car, honestly, it ran okay. Besides the idle air messing up and causing the engine to rev at idle places such as stoplights, it was fine. Had a problem with oil leaking and the car smoking, but nothing a few O-ring changes couldn't fix. Honestly, the car is just too slow and outdated to keep up with the times. You'll be spending more money keeping it together than just investing a bunch into a newer model for the long run.
Story
Took my girl out to the parkway and sat in silence with each other while the sun set. I'll always remember it because going up the parkway had a lot of inclines, and we were both laughing at how hard the car struggled going up.
Pros
Lasts a long while. You can get over 100k miles on it and still be set for a good minute. Car was cheap. It runs okay as long as you keep up with maintenance. Gas isn't too expensive. Can find most replacement parts in any part store for a relatively cheap price,.
Cons
Acceleration on any sort of incline is awful. Older Camrys are known for having valve cover problems, which can be expensive. Generally has problems with leaking oil. Not up to date with electronics that newer cars have. Sometimes hard to find specific parts due to age of the vehicle and Toyota no longer manufacturing certain parts.
1997 Toyota Camry - This vehicle is a good all-around daily driver.
My Camry has over 230,000 miles on it, and I have only had to do regular maintenance on it. It’s a very comfortable car and fun to drive. The car is my daily driver, and I drive 120 combined a day to get to work. The only real issue that I’ve had with this vehicle is that both the indoor and outdoor handles have literally fallen off. I’ve had to replace them.
Story
My fiancé and I had a very recent exciting time; the last time it snowed. (It’s time to get tires.) We made a bet that my car wouldn’t make it up our driveway after a very wet snow. Believe it or not, it made it!
Pros
The fuel efficiency in my car is amazing. It has had a long life and done super well even with the high mileage. The car is a four-door sedan but has enough leg room for five adults. I love the trunk space and the fact that there is a trunk light. For its age, I’m impressed with some of the electronic features it already had. This two-wheel drive car even drives well in the snow.
Cons
All of the door handles have literally fallen off.

2013 Toyota Prius c - Jim Barkley Toyota Asheville
They had a great liquidation sale at new years. They also have great incentives to buy from them including a AAA style car service if I break down. I also got free car service for the next 2 years. My car has a 4 year warranty that covers most things that could go wrong with it.

They are easy to find with prices clearly marked. They have a large selection and are not too pushy. They are a large volume business so they can get you through the tough stuff quickly.
