1998 Toyota Camry - I LOVE MY CAR
I love my car. It is a 1998 and has 205,000 miles on it and still runs perfectly
Story
I don't have any memorable stories with my car. It is used as a daily driver to & from work, not as the family car
Pros
It has great gas mileage. Parts are very cheap if you need to replace anything. It drives great
Cons
My radio does not currently work and neither does my sunroof
1998 Toyota Camry - Reliable, sturdy transportation
This sweet, little, used car was right in my price range. And in fact, the owner had already moved on to a new car, and this one was taking up valuable parking space. I was happy to adopt it and have it take me home. This little car is the perfect fit for me, as I'm usually the only one in it. I don't need a big, gas-guzzling tank when this zips through traffic and into parking spots with ease. My mechanic has had nothing to say but glowing reports about this purchase. He says it should last me for a long time if I keep up the maintenance. What few repairs it needs, he says, will be easy and inexpensive to take care of. This makes me very happy.
Story
I went to visit my sister and found out she has the exact same model and color of car. The only difference is hers is a newer year than mine. It's great to know that we share the same great taste.
Pros
One of the best things about this Camry is that the owner had taken meticulous care of it. The record keeping of all of the scheduled maintenance done, the great interior condition, as well as the clean engine block told me it had been treated with respect and moderation. I've gone on many trips in this vehicle, and the trunk space is surprisingly grand for such a small car. All my camping equipment fits nicely in the back along with a suitcase and ice chest. All of the dashboard buttons and gadgets are logically arranged, and it's a great basic car to get me where I need to go.
Cons
The only negative thing I've found about this car is the interior overhead light doesn't work. I've found that's a consistent problem with Toyotas in general. I'll replace the bulb, and for a night or two when I open the door, the light goes on. But then, by right three or four, no more interior light comes on when the door opens. If I could fix that so it always worked, I'd be completely and totally satisfied with this well-maintained beauty.
