2005 Toyota Avalon - It is a car that can last
I own a Toyota Avalon. It was first bought from an old lady new in 2006. I purchased the vehicle in 2011 for half the price she paid. She had driven it for an average of 12 thousand miles a year. I believe she only changed the oil and tires. When I test drove the car, it was fine. The springs were nice, and that gave me a comfortable drive. This indicated she did not go off road too much but why would she. The engine had no hiccups. Purred like a kitten. The interior was well preserved and had no sign of overuse.
Story
I just feel so good riding in it on a slow Sunday after it had been washed.
Pros
It was a V6 and was very powerful. The interior was very clean, and the dashboard had this feel of a spaceship, which gave the appearance of more room. Plenty of leg room in the back seat for guests. Very little maintenance was needed.
Cons
It was a family car. For me, I don't need a four door in my life. The power came but was weighed down by the large size of the car. The design was a very modest design that blended in and did not stand out.
2005 Toyota Avalon - Very reliable, good gas mileage, roomy
The Toyota Avalon actually blew me away. It has more than enough power, more than enough luxury. Other than the quality, high-end feel of the materials and general roominess to be found in the Toyota Avalon interior. It is a very smooth ride and the best part about it is how roomy it is.
Story
My family consists of my mother, father, brother, sis in law and myself. We have driven my car out to Las Vegas as a family road trip and it was a great smooth ride. It was a very adventurous trip and I have to say that my mother with her osteoporosis was happy with how comfortable the seats were.
Pros
The Toyota Avalon has good gas mileage, doesn't need premium gas, color is easy to clean, heated seats for the cold winter days, decent fuel economy. It's a fun family car to take road trips and just to drive around town. I like that I can get very comfortable behind the wheel, and the way the steering wheel feels in my hands. I like the exterior styling, way better than most of the other cars in the segment.
Cons
The negative things about this car are the shift knob gets extremely warm summer, leather gets sticky on warm days. I also spent extra money on the navigation. I do not like that the seat height adjustment lever is as high as it is. When I swing my legs out to get out of the vehicle, I have to be careful not to push down on the handle. I was trying to figure out why the seat sometimes seemed lower than where I had it set

2013 Toyota Avalon - Toyota Of Downtown La Los Angeles
After visiting many dealerships and having a really bad experience at one, I was pretty much expecting terrible service, but Toyota of DTLA totally surprised me. Through a mutual friend, I set up an appointment with someone who works sales and leasing so I didn't have to meet with several different departments. I was promised what I was told when we spoke on the phone and they actually provided with the car. The guy I worked with was friendly and didn't make me feel like I was being taken advantage of. I felt that I got a great deal and left feeling positive which is rare at a dealerships.
1991 Toyota Celica - Mercedes Benz Of Calabasas
Great customer service and quick response to questions with short wait times.
