Basically I didn't even know about this car I was looking for a Toyota Camry, or Corolla I never had seen or even heard about a Toyota Avalon. So I went to the dealership one day and looked around looked at both the Corolla and Camry the dealer told me hey look at the Avalon and tell me what you think so I got in with him and took a test drive, I was sold there was no comparison in between the three cars.
Story
I like to go to the beach in this vehicle and drive a strip with the windows down taking in the fresh air.
Pros
Pro's are it is a very luxurious car leather everything gps navigation. Power everything seats even warm up and heat up. The back of the car has so much room and legroom its crazy, even the backseats recline and I haven't seen that in a car yet. I've had the car for about a year now and I still feel spoiled to this day.
Cons
Cons are the vehicle is very heavy thus it's not that great on gas mileage. Even for being a Toyota I heard repairs are going to be kind of expensive to fix. I know just my oil change at the dealership was nearly 80 bucks, I'm not use to that.

I especially like the amount of back seat room for passengers. The handling and pickup is very good. In five years of ownership I have had zero service issues. the mileage is better than I expected for a car this size. The mileage and handling are as good if no better than I would expect for a car in this class.
Story
I use this car to pick up my grandchildren from school and camp. It is very accommodating for them.
Pros
Very good space for passengers to ride in comfort. Instruments and navigation system are intuitive. The car handles well on mountain roads and in the city. Very comfortable. The navigation system is accurate and easy to learn as well as use.
Cons
Occasionally, I get warning lights advising me to check in with the dealership. So far, they say those lights are all false alarms.
