We bought the Toyota because we wanted an adventure vehicle that was affordable, reliable, and not overly huge. It has served that purpose well, although for the day to day driving and commutes, I wish the gas mileage was better.
Story
While we were living in California, we would drive on the beach, roll the back window down and sit in the trunk to watch the sunset!
Pros
Four wheel drive, trunk space, off-road capabilities.
Cons
The gas mileage is terrible compared to what I am used to (Honda Civics), although I suppose that's to be expected in a truck.

2013 Toyota Prius - Toyota Of Grand Rapids
They were offering 0% financing for 60 months, and the made the purchase very simple. I didn't have to deal with insurance or changing registration information, the salesman did all of that for me. They give me reminder calls for (free!) maintenance since my car was purchased new, and I can get oil changes for 9. 95 for the life of the car!

Salesman called us personally to make sure we were happy with sale.
They wash the car for us each time we bring it in for service.
We got free oil changes for the first 100k miles.
