1988 Toyota 4Runner - It's my favorite vehicle I've owned, could get better gas mileage though.
I really like this truck. I really like that the rear portion of the roof is removable. When the roof is on it's a 5 seat SUV, with it off and the rear seats folded down it's just like a regular pickup so you can haul whatever you need to. It has been by far the most reliable vehicle either me or girlfriend have owned and maintenance isn't too difficult for most things. Acceleration is a little slow, it was made for off-roading rather than racing though so it doesn't bother me.
Story
My brother and I take it off-roading all the time. So far I've only gotten it stuck once off-road. It had been raining really hard for a few days and there were huge ruts all over the trails, when we were driving past one of them the side colapsed and the front passenger side tire fell in. Pros
It always runs, even when parts wear out that make it undrivable it still starts and runs with no problems. I really like the removable roof, it makes the vehicle extremely versatile. I also like that you can fit larger tires for off-roading on it without modifying it. It also has pretty high ground clearance making it great off-road.
Cons
The gas mileage is pretty bad, I haven't been able to figure out if it's something wrong with my engine or if it's just bad on all of them. The roof takes a little while to remove, and normally requires a couple people to help lift it off.
