2004 Toyota 4Runner - I can't say enough good things
This vehicle is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. It has 140,000 miles on it, and the only problem I have ever had was a wheel bearing that needed to be replaced. It runs extremely well, the air conditioning is still ice cold, and the transmission shifts like a dream. The four-wheel drive has never failed me. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone, absolutely anyone, that is in need of a quality, long lasting automobile. The body is still in great shape, and the paint has not faded or chipped away in the least.
Story
Me and my older brother drove from Mississippi to Chicago to pick up a motorcycle, then went on to Milwaukee to buy another one. We loaded both onto the trailer and towed them home with my 4Runner. We didn't have any issues along the way, and me and my brother had a nice, long road trip to bond and make memories.
Pros
The heated seats were a nice change for me. The sunroof works great, and the factory tint it not too dark, nor too light. There is plenty of leg room, even for me at 6'9". I towed two motorcycles and a trailer from Wisconsin to Mississippi with the 4Runner and never had an issue out of it the whole trip. It has plenty of power, and I like that it comes from the factory with seventeen inch rims on it. It still cranks almost instantly, and I never worry about it starting in the cold weather.
Cons
There aren't many negative things I can think of about this vehicle. The fuel mileage could be a little better, with it averaging around 17 mpg, but that is to be expected on a SUV of this size.
