Never had a 4WD vehicle before like this one, but took my new ride to the nearby mountains and dirt roads to try it out. Got worried real quick on a few trails that put me at bad angles, but the SUV handled them well and improved my confidence fast. I'm someone who always goes out in the woods to have a good time and I needed something that was just going to do that with me. I knew that this truck would be just for me.
Story
I go wheeling in my Toyota 4runner and everyone complements me on how well it handles.
Pros
I believe the biggest testament to my Toyota's quality is that I've never had a problem with it! It's great off road and gets great gas mileage. Some more pros are cicer seats, more electrical doodads to play with, more power, better for towing. Nice drive on road. Overall great Toyota reliability.
Cons
My cons are lots of plastic, auto transmission only, expensive sticker price, more expensive replacement parts, and that it's more expensive to have maintained than some other makes. Doesn't feel like a truck to me (stock). Other than all these, I have no problems with my Toyota. I love it so much and I would most definitely recommend it to friends and family. In fact, we all pretty much have them.

A solid, reliable vehicle. Great in the winter snow as well as any other time of the year. Comfortable, great quality, no complaints. By far, the best vehicle I've ever owned, and I've owned 17 over the years, which is why I still have it, and it's almost 20 years old.
Story
Driving through hurricane Sandy was the most recent. I was able to get around and help out several friends who were stuck during the storm. Prior to that, the last big blizzard where we had over two feet of snow. I was able to get around with four-wheel drive while others couldn't even get out of their driveways.
Pros
Reliability—never breaks down, just minor repairs over the years. Durability—after nearly 20 years, the body has no rust, and the paint is still okay, even though it's kept outside. Value—no vehicle I've ever owned has lasted so well and given me such value.
