My Subaru Legacy is the wagon model. When you get into the driver's seat, you can immediately feel the quality. It's very fun to drive, and I feel safe in all weather situations with All Wheel Drive. I like that it seems less rugged than the Subaru Outback but it is still has the room of a wagon. I think the interior is very stylish and all the compartments around the dashboard are useful. The car is so spacious. I don't have children, but I have dogs and we love to throw the back seat down and take the dogs on trips. So far, I have had limited maintenance costs - the most expensive being new tires. The acceleration is very peppy and it handles much better than any other vehicle I have driven. Braking is smooth and quick. I have no blind spots. I trust the Subaru brand very much and... (more)
Story
Any fun road trips with my dogs top my favorite stories about this vehicle. I open the back hatch and they hop in. They stick their heads out the back seat windows and create nose art all along the back. We get to the park, river, or wherever else we go, and they hop out. This vehicle definitely makes me relate to the Subaru commercials about loving a Subaru. It's become a huge part of my fami... (more)
Pros
This car is so much fun to drive. It handles so well, I feel safe on any road. There is an optional manual gear shift that makes driving in the snow a breeze. Other features I love are the sunroof, all power controls, remote unlock, extra compartments for anything you need to store.
Cons
The number one and possibly only issue I have with my Subaru Legacy wagon is the interior is stylish but does not hold up well. My dog was able to scratch a huge dent into the middle console the day I bought it. The upholstery tears easily.

The first thing that attracted me to the car was the look of it and the fact that it is all wheel drive. When looking at used models, the legacy seemed like a really great affordable choice. It also gets great gas mileage which is important.
Story
When we bought it there was an open recall on the vehicle so we took it in to get it fixed. When we got to the dealership, they realized they couldn't do it that day. So, we decided since we were already up early to take the car on its first road trip. We went to Richmond and got some great bbq.
Pros
The gas mileage this car gets is great, I really enjoy spending less money on gas. The car also handles really well. We've driven it in snow and rain and it does well in both which is a huge relief. A nice additional feature is that it has a USB plug so it's easy to plug your phone into it for music or GPS. The car has a huge truck which is helpful because we often drive to visit family and bring a lot of stuff with us.
Cons
The car I had before was an SUV so I feel like this car is low to the ground which takes some getting used it. It also doesn't accelerate very fast so if you're looking for something with a lot of power then this probably isn't the right car for you. I also don't care for the trim on the outside, I think it looks plasticy.
