The car is a well rounded midsize car that has the advantage of full-time all-wheel drive standard. It has a shorter wheelbase than most midsize cars, but it doesn't compromise on interior room. It is effortless and comfortable to drive and ride in. It is stylish in its own kind of way. We have gotten almost 37 MPG on road trips when the car is rated at 31. It is a car we overlooked before we purchased but glad we came back to it.

We caught somebody looking into our car in a doctor's parking lot. They wanted to know what it was.
Pros
Full-time all-wheel drive. Decent gas mileage for full-time all-wheel drive. The hood is lower due to the way the engine is mounted making it easier to see more of the road. The back seat is really comfortable even on long trips. The controls are not overwhelming.
Cons
The radio has poor reception and not the best sound. The A/C takes a while to cool the vehicle down. The engine is a little noisier than most do to the boxer engine. The interior materials are a little cheap. The radio and heater controls could be a little bigger.

I really like this vehicle. It has lots of great features (sunroof, excellent sound system) and good fuel economy. The color is alright (light green). It accelerates quickly, and doesn't seem to have any problems.

The styling of the car is nice, it's not the best looking car, but it is functional. The outside is not that far off most other sedans, but it is a little unique. The front end is styled similar to other Subaru vehicles. There are lots of great interior features as well. The speakers are great, and you can plug in an auxiliary cable to listen to a phone or iPod. It has a nice sunroof as well. The interior of the car is nice and roomy. The trunk could be a little bigger. I wish it got better fuel economy. The seats are a little stiff. Overall, not too many negatives about the car.

The salesman at Byers Subaru went above and beyond for us. He was able to price match another dealer, who had the same car that we wanted. We were able to test drive the car alone, but the dealer came out to the parking lot and sat with us to explain all of the electronics in the car. Now that we have purchased a car from them, we get free car washes for life on the car.
