2011 Subaru Impreza - Awesome first car
To begin, I love the overall style of the Impreza. It just looks fashionable without having to be a high end sports car. It is compact but feels spacious. I also love its performance in regards to acceleration. I mean, for such a little car it will definitely respond when you put the pedal to the metal. Now I do not like how my model did not come with cruise control, but this is not an error of the car maker so much as an error made by the dealer. Finally, the fuel economy is not horrible in this car as I can get about 19 mile when doing my city commute.
Story
I love to travel in this car but I'm also a college student. Thus I like to save money and if staying for a day I will sleep in the car. Now I understand the stigma behind it but man sleeping in the Impreza is surprisingly comfortable despite its size. Thus if you are ever going to be needing a quick rest this car has your back
Pros
The pros of this car really shine in reliability and performance. In terms of reliability, this car has always started despite the coldest of winters. Likewise I even had a run in with a turkey and, despite the damage, the car was still able to run to the nearest repair shop. Performance is also impressive. For example, the steering is always smooth and responsive.
Cons
This car does have some cons. I do not like that some of the front is plastic, this however could simply be a personal thing. The lack of cruise control is disappointing. And it is low to the ground. Thus ground hazards become even more problematic.
