2016 Subaru Impreza - Exceeds Expectations
The vehicle is excellent. I am extremely impressed with the mileage and low emissions, which are very important to me. The safety is better than any car I have ever owned. The car is a hatchback and has abundant cargo room. I have transported bicycles, mattresses, camping gear, and lawnmowers. This is the first car I have ever purchased and I would highly recommend owning the Subaru Impreza.
Story
Road trips and camping excursions to Yosemite National Park
Pros
My favorite features are the fuel efficiency and partial zero emissions. The car has diagnostics that remind me to do maintenance. The handling and 4WD can conquer any terrain, from snow to beach. The interior is comfortable and has plenty of cargo room. The warranty is sound and seems comprehensive. I have read other reviews that say the vehicle is very reliable.
Cons
All cons are minor and would be diminished if I had more funds to invest into the vehicle. The financing is expensive and I wish my monthly payments were lower (about $370). I want to have the optional roof rack and may add this feature at a later date. The interior and electronics are minimal, but these features are not important to me.
2010 Subaru Impreza - Great value for your money
I strongly like my Subaru Imprezza 2.5i premium, because I feel like for the money it was probably the best bang for the buck. For me, the option of AWD and a wagon was the best combo I could find in order to fill all my needs. The engine itself may not be the strongest available, however the ability to get 26mpg on average far out weighs the stronger motor option in the WRX. As far as the trim goes, I would say its average. I wish they offered a better leather option. I currently have a cloth option, and I feel it has not been able to hold up as well.
Story
Driving my car in the snow has been a blast. The amount of traction I had in terrible snowy conditions was fantastic and something to be proud of.
Pros
The positive aspects of the car was the value and the AWD as a standard option. The engine is also a strong aspect of the car, even though it's not the WRX version because the fuel mileage is better than the average. I think the styling of the car is actually quite nice as well.
Cons
I would say the biggest con of the vehicle would be the noise while driving. I would also state the trim as being pretty bare, and the options I purchased were pretty standard, as well. Looking back on it, I think I would like the car to be loaded slightly more. Another con is the cost of maintenance if you were to try and maintain as required.
