2013 Subaru Impreza - Exceptional/Dependable
First, the vehicle is aesthetically pleasing. The interior is relatively simple, but also very aesthetically pleasing. The ride the vehicle provides is comfortable. It has 25,000 miles and there are no rattles or abnormal interior noises. The AWD is a definite plus especially in inclement weather (rain & snow). The gas consumption is exceptional and I am able to use regular unleaded fuel. The stereo system is quite adequate for my listening needs. It has USB ports that can be used for other devices. The Bluetooth hands free option is quite good with good sound. The only maintenance since owning the vehicle has been routine maintenance.
Story
in a very bad snow storm, I was able to navigate up and down hills while most other vehicles were slipping and sliding up and down hills.
Pros
Bluetooth connectivity. USB port availability. AWD. Back seat folds to fit large cargo items. Exceptional gas mileage. Nice looking vehicle. Subaru has an outstanding safety record.
Cons
Ride a bit "tighter" than the car I traded in, but that is due to AWD. I have since gotten used to the tighter ride.
2017 Subaru Impreza - 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport
The Impreza Sport is a really sharp looking vehicle. It is nice and fun to drive, although slightly lacking in acceleration.
Story
Getting complimented on my car is always nice! I had a person I knew approach me to compliment it who didn't realize it was me at first!
Pros
Probably my favorite feature is the touchscreen stereo unit. The Apple/Android integrations feature helps you to make the most out of the really nice screen. The back-up camera is very bright, and the image is very clear on the screen. It is also really just a beautiful car (with nice rims also) and turns some heads without completely killing your budget.
Cons
The car could use a little extra horse power. The seat belt, even on the lowest setting, cuts into my neck a bit (I am 5'4"), and I had to put a cover on it. Additionally, the recommended synthetic oil is too thin, and the car cannot go between oil changes without a top-up which is a bit frustrating.
