2014 Subaru Impreza - It's a good, cheap, dependable car
I love my Subaru. It feels very safe. The four-wheel drive is perfect for Midwest winters. It's a good size, especially if you are into outdoor sports. Bikes fit easily in the hatchback, and I have bars on my roof for a SUP board. I like that it's not too big, though, and gas friendly. I can visit my family three hours away and get home on the same tank of gas.
Story
The first time I put my bike in back, by myself, to go for a ride in the state park, I felt so accomplished. Getting bikes into cars isn't always easy, but this was easy and I had a great ride.
Pros
The four-wheel drive is amazing. I never feel uncomfortable driving during a storm. I like the way it looks. It's very unassuming but still kind of stylish. It's a very comfortable car, perfect for long drives. The drivers seat is always comfortable, even after three hours on the road. I love having a hatchback. It's so convenient, and you can fit so much in it.
Cons
While I love this car, it is loud. You hear a lot of road noise, even when it's new. The A/C went out recently, and that seems a little too soon. I'm guessing it's not a problem in all Imprezas, but this was disappointing. Also, as big as it is, one car seat in the back really eats into the front seat space.
2008 Subaru Impreza - Very happy with it.
First vehicle that I drove that had four wheel drive.
The build quality is good, no interior rattles or noise of any kind.
The interior materials look and feel high quality, and have held up well over time.
I have experienced no issues with any of the electronic components.
It is great for driving during winter.
Great for driving in the snow.
Great for driving in the rain.
Great for driving on muddy roads, etc.
Also great trunk area. Can store a lots of items after going shopping for groceries etc.
Only "dislike" is it could have been little bigger for my needs.
Story
Driving from Green Bay to Chicago during winter night never felt better and more secure/safe.
Pros
Reliability.
Strong engine for it's size.
4 Wheel drive.

How it drives on slippery/muddy roads.
Cons
Fuel consumption during city/urban drive.
Somewhat fast to grind down breaks (break pads).

0 Subaru WRX - Gerald Subaru Of Naperville
In general, they were friendly and willing to negotiate the price on a lot of the sport package upgrades. They are a good dealer if you already know what you want and how much you are willing to pay for it. Make sure you do your research because the WRX/STi are enthusiast cars and salesmen generally do not understand the nuances of those.
2009 Subaru Forester - Carmax Schaumburg
The staff was incredibly friendly and experienced, and they made me feel like a valued customer. They respected my opinion and didn't force me to look at any cars I didn't want to. I knew I wanted the Forester and that's all they showed me.
