2009 Subaru Impreza - Fantastic car.
I bought this car used in 2014 after the owner unfortunately passed away, and the family was selling it for him. The car only had 18,000 miles on it and was in great condition. I love this car. It runs super smoothly, and I have never had any major problems with it.
Story
I don't think there's one specific memory I have with it, but my favorite memories with my car are road tripping in it with friends to music festivals and living/camping out of the car at the festivals.
Pros
The car has nice gas mileage. I usually get around 30 miles per gallon on the freeway, sometimes closer to 34 if I take the racks off the top, so I spend less on gas with this car than any I've owned before. With the all-wheel drive, I can trust it to get me up to the mountain safely and handle the terrain that comes with it. It is comfortable and feels very spacious for how nice and compact it is, and my friends love riding in it as well. I also just love Subarus and trust them to be safer than most other cars.
Cons
Since it is an '09 model, it did not have the stereo options I was looking for. Minor con, but for how much I love music and podcasts, it was essential for me to be able to connect my phone to the speakers, so I had to install a different stereo for the car. I also dislike how low to the ground the car is. It is not usually a problem, but I have scraped the bottom of my car several times on things like steep driveways or crazy mountain terrain. Also a minor flaw that I could definitely get fixed, but one of the cigarette lighter inputs stopped working, and the second one is starting to go ... (more)
2014 Subaru Impreza - I love my '14 Impreza
I love how it drives and handles, I can speed around corners with ease. Plenty of room for my child as well.
Story
I went off road to drive up to a location on a mountain, didn't get stuck or anything. Was really fun
Pros
Plenty of room for kids, plenty of horsepower. I also like the all wheel drive in case it snows or rains.
Cons
I wish it had better gas mileage.
