2001 Subaru Forester - One of my Favorite Vehicles
I bought this vehicle as a high mileage vehicle after selling my 2006 Dodge Charger. It rates very close to a Jeep Cherokee Classic in the way it drives and the weight of the vehicle.
Story
I have drove it to work in ice and snow several times and have not had any majore issues just some small slipping on thick ice.
Pros
Two of the things that really attracted me to the vehicle were that it is light weight and all wheel drive. It does not abuse tires the way my heaver Dodge Charger did. The car is easy to maintain and it has been durable as I have put over 50k miles on it sense owning it. I feel like I have defiantly gotten my money worth out of the vehicle. I enjoy the heated seats and moon roof very much. Overall, the maintenance and tires have not been very expensive. I have read of some Subarus form those years having more severe problems. Cons
I have read some reviews of the 2001 Subaru Forester having problems with head gasket seals going bad. I am having to replace the catalytic converter in the vehicle. I am not sure how common this is in other vehicles, but I have read it is somewhat common in this model Subaru.
2010 Subaru Forester - Subaru Forester review.
I really like this car. One of the best things about it is the size. The 2010 model is perfect for transporting lots of stuff and sitting 4 people comfortably. Mine is silver which is a great color and doesn't show a lot of dirt. I do wish it had some more high tech stuff and better gas mileage but overall a great car.
Story
Car camping in Flagstaff was so fun. We drove up to a lake and our tent ended up being broken so we converted the back seat to a sleeping area and slept comfortably back there.
Pros
The size is perfect, I moved from AZ to NC and fit all my stuff in the car (along with my dad). The back seats fold down and it is spacious enough to car camp back there. It is fairly low maintenance, don't have issues with the engine, brakes etc. All wheel drive function is super helpful in snow and we only take my car if there is inclement weather.
Cons
The new technology is lacking i.e. no Bluetooth, touch screen or back up camera. This model also does not get the best gas mileage (25 driving in town, 29 on highway). It also has a hard time going up hill, it needs a lot of gas and energy to drive uphill.

2012 Subaru Forester - Mack Brown Boone
The staff were friendly and seemed to really care about what I was looking for. They didn't try to push me to cars that were over my budget and they told me which ones they could realistically sell in my price range. The employees were polite and all were very knowledgeable about the stock and financing. They answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable with my choice.
2009 Subaru Forester - Mount Jefferson Motors
Mount Jefferson Motors made buying a vehicle enjoyable. When I arrived, the sales personnel were friendly and polite. They let me take my time to look at the vehicles I was interested in and did not try to push or hassle me into buying a car that I wasn't sure about. When I had decided and it was time to talk about price, Mount Jefferson Motors was upfront about their pricing and helped me to avoid an uncomfortable haggling experience. Mount Jefferson Motors took care of everything as far as credit approval and warranties go. I could not be happier with my car buying experience.
