The Subaru Forester is the perfect all around utility car. It is equally at home driving in the city, suburbs, mountains, and forests. The Forester has excellent storage capacity, especially with the back seats folded down. It can fit everything from bikes to surfboards to lawn mowers. Additionally, it's great for city driving because it has a short wheelbase that makes it easy to maneuver and fit into small parking spots. Lastly, the Forester is very safe. Because of Subarus legendary AWD system, it will never slip in snowy or wet conditions.
Story
My husband and I would always take this car on our camping trips. It did great in the rain and on muddy back mountain roads.
Pros
- Lots of storage space - All wheel drive was great when exploring or camping - It was a manual transmission so that made it more fun to drive - Very reliable - Great safety ratings - Great visibility - Easy to park
Cons
- The manual transmission made driving on hills much harder - Bad head gaskets - Poor fuel economy - Not much leg room in the back seat

The Subaru Forester is a small SUV - in the same class as a RAV 4. It seats 4 with ease, 5 if they are friendly. It has an efficient 4 cylinder boxter engine that is still getting 25+ mpg ten years in. We have taken a family of 3 camping for a week in it. It is all wheel drive, and handles snowy roads with a firm grip.
Story
After one of our camping trips to Big Sur in California, we noticed a sweet smell and the car started running hot. When we opened the hood, we discovered that Big Sur ground squirrels had chewed through several of the radiator hoses!
Pros
The all-wheel drive grips the road, and the engine is efficient. The seats are comfortable for long rides, and road noise is not excessive. The back seats fold flat, and there is enough room inside to carry 8 foot lengths of lumber.
Cons
The roof-rack's weight limit is only 200lbs, and the towing capacity is small (not surprising given the 4 cylinder engine).

Very welcoming and great service! Nestor gave me a test drive, and after I decided to purchase the car they gave me a great deal on the next year's model. The total process was relatively quick and painless compared to past experiences with other dealerships. I get a handwritten card on the anniversary of my car purchase every year.

When I purchased my first new car I wanted to make some minor changes to the car. I also didn't want my warranty voided. I heard that this car dealership was "mod" friendly dealership and I wanted to give them my business and go to the for warranty work if needed. (Recalls ect)
