My Subaru Forester is a great car, or should I say SUV. I can carry much luggage in the cargo area, and five people inside the car. When not taking my family to the airport, I used the car to carry items when I was moving to another house. I can put the backseats (either one or both) down and really get some larger items inside. I had wondered when I bought it, would it be to big for me? But no, it's perfect. I can maneuver it just fine and can get into any parking spot I want. The turning radius is quite small; I can turn around in any street without a lot of back and forth.
Story
I live in New Jersey, the most densely populated state, and there must be more cars than people. This car makes me feel safe and secure in the midst of the rush hour fray.
Pros
What I like best about this vehicle (and other Subaru's that I have previously owned) is that the car really hugs the road, and makes me feel safe. After renting another type of car on vacation, I was glad to get back to my Subaru Forester.
Cons
The only thing that I do not especially care for is the instrument panel. I cannot see as comfortably as I would like; this may be just me. Also, the speedometer goes up to 140mph. No one needs to go this fast. This bigger range make the graduations less intuitive. They go 20, 40, 60, making it difficult to find 25, 35, etc. quickly since one needs to get one's eyes on the road most of the time.

My gold 2007 Subaru Forester is the best car I have ever owned that I NEVER thought I would have chosen. I actually was told the quality was great and was talked into it by my husband, but I found the car to be, well, not so attractive. At first, I felt it was ugly. But now I adore this car! It's easy to drive, great quality and great on gas. I'm used to driving a huge SUV, but I enjoy driving this car much more.
Story
Well, I think the best story about this car is that because my husband liked it so much (talked me into it when I needed a new car) that he found another one for sale (by a neighbor) and quickly bought one himself. Pros
I love the comfort of the seats, the ample room for people and storage. The car is extremely versatile and the car is also trustworthy and safe in ANY type of weather. It is an AWD vehicle and I have never slid or felt unsafe, even in the worst of driving conditions.
Cons
I honestly cannot think of any negative things about the car.

The staff was very courteous, and was both informative and willing to work with me on price. It's not easy finding a used car dealership with decent stock in New Jersey, but Richard Lucas was exactly what I was looking for and would gladly go back again.

Having spent most of my life in New York, I was pretty surprised to discover how reluctant car dealers in NJ were to do much in the way of used cars. Richard Lucas had a great selection, good salespeople, and good to negotiate with.
