The 2016 Subaru Forester is a great vehicle for short and long trips in urban and suburban landscapes. It is solidly made, has great gas mileage, and excellent trim, fit and finish. It features the latest technology, including EyeSight adaptive cruise control, brake assistance, blind-spot detection. Apple carplay and Android play. My family has driven this vehicle 50,000 miles, and we've had no trouble with it at all.
Story
This vehicle really turns heads. On a recent trip to get ice cream, we got several complements about how cool it looks.
Pros
It's the perfect size for a small family. It's comfortable inside with good padded leather seats. it has all the latest technology.
Cons
It may be a bit small for a larger family. It has less storage capacity than some vehicles in its class.

2004 Subaru Forester - Amazing, great for traveling! It holds a lot of luggage while being great on gas mileage.

I love my car. I've had it for nine years and it's never let me down. Unlike the newer models, the '04 is smaller and looks less bloated. It's driven me across the country several times and saved me from two accidents: one rear end going at 80mph and another from a semi!
Pros
Subaru's are fun to drive, they handle turns well and accelerate quickly for an SUV. You can take the Forrester camping, it handles the back roads great and you can fold down the backseats for a great place to sleep. It's great for moving as well and can carry most IKEA boxes. I've yet to find something I couldn't throw in the trunk or tie to the roof. I added a hitch and towed a 6x12 trailer from Florida to Vancouver!
Cons
To change the oil, you need a bay. It's really hard to reach without lifting the vehicle, so for DIYers it may be annoying.
