My Scion is my first car that I've owned. With that being said, I have been involved in 3 accidents, luckily none of them my fault. This car is definitely rugged, and it's pretty good for a first car: it's good on mileage, it looks cute, it has a good radio, and my model has a sunroof. However, I've had a lot of issues with this car. In fact, I'm trying to get rid of my car within the next month or I will have to do some heavy duty work on it. One thing is the mileage though. This car does amazing at the gas station because it only costs $20-25 to fill up, and it lasts for 2 weeks! This car also has great pickup and drives exceptionally well. It feels like a little sports car. However, this car is a little pricey to maintain. Just last month, I had to pay $1,000 for some repairs. With... (more)
Story
One fun thing I remember about this car is being able to open the sunroof and drive to the beach. The speakers are pretty good in the car, so blasting music with the windows down and the sunroof is great.
Pros
Some of the positive things about this car was the size, the pickup and the mileage. This car is small enough to be parked in compact, yet inside there is SO much space. This car also has a great pickup for it being a V4, and the gas lasts me about 2 weeks, and it only costs $25 for a refill.
Cons
I have been in a couple of accidents with this car. When I was involved in my most recent one, I began to despise this car. I was t-boned so hard that the airbags should have deployed but didn't. Also, I have to take this car to the mechanic pretty often. Although this car is cheap to purchase, it's expensive to maintain.

The Scion tC handles well and was a great price for the quality of the car. I have driven it for ten years now, and it has never had a major problem. It also still looks quite stylish and new, despite getting up there in years. The features are decent for a pretty low price. The only thing I would avoid in the future is the coupe style—having two doors is annoying when you are transporting more than one other person at a time. The Scion has held up in a comparable manner to other, much more expensive cars. I have driven it all over the country and have taken it on many long trips. In fact, it traveled with me across the country on numerous occasions and now has over 200k+ miles on it. It remains a comfortable and reliable vehicle that I would wholeheartedly recommend to any of my frien... (more)
Story
I've taken numerous road trips into the California desert with this vehicle, and it's made a great base for a lot of camping trips. It handles dirt roads surprisingly well for a small, low-slung sports car.
Pros
Quality for the price, attractive looks, ease of handling, and power of the engine. It has been a reliable vehicle without any major issues, even after ten years of driving it very regularly.
Cons
The interior was a little small, but that is to be expected. I would not re-purchase it as a coupe, however. Having only two doors made transporting other people a pain, and the doors themselves were huge and unwieldy.
