I bought my Scion tC in November of 2013 brand new. I had been looking at some similar cars; an avenger and a civic. What I loved about this car above the others was the engine. Not only was this a better engine than in the other cars, but it also sounded better! What 22 year old doesn't want a manly sounding car? For the price, you can't beat how much car you are getting. With roughly 27 mpg and a sporty look, you can't go wrong. There are some parts of the car that are plastic and I wish were a little more sturdy, but overall this is a well built car.
Story
My buddy and I took this car from Illinois to Ohio for a house party. This was a 6 hour drive and we ended up staying at the house for about 12 hours. But the way it handled itself on the interstate in icy conditions made me so thankful I went with this car!
Pros
I love the gas mileage (27mpg for city driving) and the gitty-up of the engine. This car is a great economy car, but when you want to light it up, you can slam on the gas and get punched back into your seat.
Cons
While I do understand they are classifying this as a sports car, I wish they would offer this as a 4 door car. The two doors are nice as a single young person, but after getting married and thinking about kids, this is now starting to become unrealistic.

The Scion TC is a great car for the money. I love the look of it the most. It is sleek and has an eye-catching body style. One you put tint on the windows, watch out! It makes the car jump in style. There are no shakes or rattles, and it already has 50k miles! Stock comes with everything you could possibly need in a vehicle. From the sound system (Pioneer), to the rims (beautiful), no need to change anything. From when I first saw it, I had to have it.
Story
So far, all I can think of is a piece of twig fell on me when I opened the sunroof, and I almost jumped out of the seat.
Pros
The moon roof is awesome. The whole ceiling is made of glass. The sunroof is great as well, especially on the cool nights. Sound system is Pioneer and sounds crisp and clear. Body style is very pleasing to the eyes. Audio control on steering wheel helps a whole bunch, and the Bluetooth is always appreciated.
Cons
Alarm system does not automatically lock doors when car is turned on. I prefer that feature for safety. Also, there are no daytime running lights. I am used to that so have to remember to turn lights on and off myself again.
