The Scion FRS is an all-around great car. It is definitely one of best looking cars out there. The body stance is just right and looks really aggressive - truly looks like a work of art. Since it's made by Toyota you know it is a reliable car. I've had the car since April and couldn't be happier. It drives smooth, turns great, and the acceleration puts a smile on my car. I’ve received nothing but compliments on the car.
Story
I remember the day I bought her home and just realized how much nicer this car was than my previous 16 year old car. Technology and styling has a come a long way in 16 years and I felt grateful to be driving this car.
Pros
The looks of the car are my favorite; it’s just a beauty! The leather seats, HIDs, and keyless entry are all nice touches. The automatic lights are very useful.
Cons
The car takes premium gas which can be expensive. No sunroof option. The stock antenna is tacky looking and should have come standard with a "shark fin" antenna. The navigation unit could be cleaner and better looking. The storage space in the car is lacking. The trunk is small and there is very little storage inside the main cabin. I struggle to find room for even a few CDs. I also wish the car had a rear windshield wiper. The car should be able to get better mileage; I average only about 26mpg. I feel the car should be able to average at least 30mpg.

I think the Scion FR-S is one of the best sports coupes available under 30,000 dollars, if not the best. The styling is amazing with a stance that looks like it belongs on a car that costs twice as much. It gets great gas mileage and handles like a dream. Unlike a Mustang that really is only good for going in a straight line the FR-S would feel right at home on a race track. The engine can be a little anemic but it still pushes our 200 horse power and coupled with the six speed transmission is more than enough to have a lot of fun with. Especially with how light the car is. Overall the car is very reliable since you are getting Toyota's famous build quality and high reliability. This is a sports coupe that you do not need to be afraid to put 200,000 thousand miles on. All in a package ... (more)
Story
Personally I love just driving this car around and taking corners way faster than I should. Thanks to its great suspension and handling it is an amazing car to drive.
Pros
Build Quality, Amazing looks, Very aggressive pricing.
Cons
The engine can be a little anemic for a sports car.
