2004 Saturn Vue - Regretmobile
The 2004 Saturn Vue is a decent vehicle, but had a lot of problems. I regret ever buying this car.
Story
The day I finally got rid of it was a glorious day. It was so nice to finally get it out of my driveway and let someone else deal with all the repairs.
Pros
A pro of the Saturn Vue is that it is a reasonably priced mid-size SUV that has a decent amount of space. Its 3.5 liter V6 engine puts out a good amount of power.
Cons
This car is not very comfortable. The suspension was a bit stiff and had a lot of body roll when cornering. At times it felt as though it might tip over when cornering hard. It also did not perform very well at the drag strip, with quarter mile times of over 16 seconds at only 86 mph. The Saturn Vue is very unreliable and suffers from many common problems reported by various owners on websites online. I personally had issues with the battery, fuel injection, fuel pump, alternator, suspension, wheel bearings, timing belt, as well as several different sensors. It is not easy to work on, many... 2008 Saturn Vue - Love the Saturn.
The Saturn Vue is an amazing car. I have had it for over ten years and it has held up incredibly well. I love the look of the car, very stylish. And it is just the right size - bigger than a RAV-4 but smaller than a large SUV like a Highlander. Perfect for couples of small families.
Story
It isn't a large car but I have taken many road trips in it and have been able to fit everything we need. Once year we drove 20 hours for a trip on the North Carolina Coast. My husband and I managed to get everything into the trunk without lowering the back seat so our dog could stay in the backseat. Pros
The exterior looks almost brand new, I haven't had to do any repairs other than regular maintenance and upkeep (oil changes, tires, etc.). In the past when I've had a car this long, the paint is chipping and the transmission is failing and something needs replacing, but not the Saturn.
Cons
The Saturn company ended a year after we bought the car. Wish it was still around so we could buy another once this car dies. But Chevy offers a nearly identical model.

Salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cars. He builds them himself and is very honest about what's wrong with them, what might go wrong, etc. etc. Prices are also very fair. Guy had a ton of cars all around the yard that he was fixing up, and he even included a spare tire and kit in my used Saturn. Seems like an awesome guy and I got a fair price!
