I bought this car because I needed one immediately due to my last one breaking down. My first reaction to it was I really enjoyed the fact that for a car it was extremely roomy. I felt like my passengers sitting in the back seat weren't going to be forced to sit right on top of each other and actually had room to relax. I however did not like the extremely light color of the interior and that has proven to be on ongoing issue on how to keep it clean. The outside of the car is nice looking, but I personally feel it's a mix of trying to be hip and new, and also still looking like a "Grandma" car. The car has 90,000 miles on it and seems to becoming down with quite a few electrical problems. Firstly, the main screen on the radio will sometimes just randomly go blank, you can still change ... Story
I purchased this car in a hurry one weekend after my other car was completely unusable. A week later I was at the grocery store and parked next to the same exact car (color and everything). It turns out one of my good friend's had just bought it that day, so now we're like twins.
Pros
I think one of the best things about this vehicle is the amount of space it has. From the front and rear seating set up, and even the trunk, there is plenty of room for passengers and to store or transport any belongings you have. I also like the dependability of the vehicle. Even though I like to say it "has an attitude of it's own", it still always starts right up and gets me where I need to go. I drove it 1500 miles on a road trip and it never failed me once. I like the interior set up too, there are so many different little storage compartments that the driver can reach and have access... (more)
Cons
The top negative things I've noticed so far about this vehicle are the electrical issues (radio, door locks). I've also had more windshield wiper issues with this vehicle then any other car I've owned. I also really do not like the extremely light interior of the car at all.

The Saturn Aura has a very nice build to it. It gave off the "luxury look" with a very affordable price. When it comes to the look, I like more the rear end of the car as opposed to the front end. The interior is well done as well, very comfortable and spacious. I owned a V6, so the power of the engine takes off quickly, handling turns and bumps very well. I had several road trips with it, and it was a smooth ride all the time. It drives very well on highways as well. However, I had issues with the steering wheel. Sometimes it becomes really stiff. After taking it to the mechanic, I found out that there was a problem related to the rack and pinion. It was leaking. But instead of changing the parts that were leaking, we had to take out the whole rack and pinion, which is not the way rac... (more)
Story
The smooth ride in general. I had to drive from Kansas City to Atlanta with most of my belongings in the car and was afraid that it wouldn't be comfortable and that I would have issues, but it was a smooth ride.
Pros
The way the car was built gave off a luxury car look. (Mine was a silver one , which enhances the beauty of the car) . The fit and finish are very good. The interior styling was very satisfying as well. Very comfortable and easy to maintain.
Cons
The rack and pinion issue. Now that I have heard few people had the same issue, I conclude that it`s an issue that GM had when building the car. Emergency brake on the floor. It was quite difficult for friends who borrowed the car to find it. Fuel economy, though I knew that I was getting a 6CL, so I should have expected to spend more gas but that was still one thing I did not like about it. When you have your windows down, you could really hear the engine roaring . That was something that I didn't really like much since I enjoy quiet ride. There is no armrest in the back seat, which mak... (more)
