2006 Saab 9-2X - What a great partnership

I enjoy my Saab 9-2X. It shares the same platform as the Subaru WRX. It plows through snow like no other car I have owned and has a fresh two-tone leather interior. The fold-down rear seats are handy when you need more storage. It's very peppy and fun to drive equipped with a turbocharged engine. I recommend considering a 9-2X if you're looking for reliable fun transportation.

Story

Making it through the ice storm up north while on a business trip. Glad I had this car to help me through it.

Pros

Easy to get parts, Fun to drive, pretty easy to work on.

Cons

Interior could be a little more solid.

2006 Saab 9-2X -

Drives excellent, handles even better and its very cheap to maintain! Road noise is my main complaint about it. It can be loud but certainly it's not anything out of the ordinary, loud, premium sound system helps with this also, but as you can expect its not a Mercedes/BMW either. Over the last few years, the car has met every need that I've had, it's been very comfortable when taking long trips and very reliable when properly taken care of! Performance wise the engine is more than enough for a family car, daily commute, etc. I would buy this car again as well as recommend it to anyone!

Was at a stop light and a beautiful woman pulled up next to me and said "nice car!"

Pros

Great handling, automatic transmission, with outstanding power. Look is beautiful. Much classier than anything in its class. Good all-weather performance, better gas mileage than expected. Low cost maintenance.

Cons

Some of the interior parts seem to be not so well made, the plastic pieces tend to break pretty easily. The cup holder broke off, and the CD player quit working. The ignition sometimes doesn't work if the key is not perfectly in the slot. Very low to ground must be careful of curbs, concrete parking stops and street gutters which will tear-up the underside.
