1989 Porsche 911 Owner Ratings & Reviews
Write a Review
1989 Porsche 911 - My favorite car!
I have owned many Porsche cars and I love them. This particular one is the last year of the air cooled engines and its value keeps going up. It has about 125,000 miles and is a pleasure to drive. The paint is original and still looks great. I have a few dings but nothing too bad. Porsche quality is impressive. The interior leather, dashboard, seats and mats are in great shape. This car is a kick to drive...It's fast and handles perfectly. The gas mileage is pretty good also. The convertible top is easy to open and close.
Story
I drive this car because I love it but it is fun when almost once a week someone will see me in a gas station or shopping and ask me about it and whether I want to sell it. Once I was parking at Target and a policeman stopped and asked about it.
Pros
The top positive things would be...Styling, quality, speed, cornering and attention to detail. Porsche believes that these cars are made for driving and the driver should pay attention to that...Hence, no cup holders!
Cons
My only negatives about this car are that it's a bit tough to drive in heavy traffic due to the manual transmission, it requires premium gas and the air conditioner isn't great!
