I have to say I've enjoyed owning my GTO for the past eight years. Every time I get behind the wheel, I fall in love with it all over again. From the smooth feel of the leather wrapped steering wheel to the body hugging bolsters of the red leather seats, the car just feels right. On the road, the 6.0 liter Chevy LS2 engine provides enough power to keep things exciting whether you're just driving to work or are doing some spirited jaunts down back country roads. The car's external styling can be considered bland by some, however I feel the styling is just as it should be. The GTO is a car that doesn't necessarily draw attention just by its looks, but when you stomp on the gas, people will know there's something special about it.
Story
There's a local back road I love to drive the car on in autumn -- right about the time that the leaves on the trees start to change color and fall off. The temperature outside gets down to the mid 60s, and I roll the windows down and just cruise with the radio off. I'll just drive and listen to the sound of the engine as I shift through the gears and enjoy the scenery before I put the car aw... (more)
Pros
Comfortable leather seats in all three years the car was produced. Good handling and fun to drive. 400 hp 6.0 liter engine in 2005 and 2006 models. The LS2 engine is built like a tank. I've only ever had to change oil and spark plugs on it, and it still runs great at 70k miles.
Cons
Small trunk space. The fuel tank is located in the trunk, so you're lucky to get two golf bags in there. The stock stereo is acceptable with its six-disc changer, but I would recommend upgrading to something a bit more modern. Fuel economy isn't great at about 16 MPG city and 22 MPG highway, but this is a muscle car. The power more than makes up for it. If you buy the car with a six-speed manual transmission, you may run into some trouble with the fourth-gear synchro making some noise. Any competent transmission shop can get you fixed up.

I love this car. It is super fast and sporty yet roomy. The back seats have the built in child restraints so it is easy to install my children's car seats. The side doors are large enough to fit an average sized adult in the back seat. I like that the back seats are tilted a little bit - it makes for a comfy ride even though you are in the back seat.
Story
I am about the only person in our area who has a GTO. It is bright yellow and has very dark tinted windows. I recently met a new Mustang at an intersection and we both took off a little quick and needless to say I passed it with no problem. After it caught up I had to roll my window down so the guy to see he just got passed by a girl!!
Pros
The car has a very strong and powerful engine, the computer is a solid feature. I have not had any issues with sensors or warnings that needed to be cleared. It is the only vehicle I know of that has a programmable stop watch. I really like that there is an over speed setting that will basically have the car beep at me if I go over a certain speed. This can also be easily changed while driving. I like having the radio controls on the steering wheel. The dash has a display area under the speedometer. This area is awesome at showing the switching between the radio and a cd. The graphics that... (more)
Cons
The menu is a little confusing. There are a lot of different options and settings available for this car. Some of the settings can be changed with the car shut off but some the car needs to be running. The drivers manual is a little hard to follow when it comes to changing the added feature settings.

2007 Pontiac g6 GT edition. It's light sky blue with light tan leather heated seats. It's a two-door coupe. I bought it with 1,546 miles. It's a v6 and great on gas. It has every option they had available, with heated seats, heated mirrors, easy to drive, power double seats, DVD player, ice cold ac and very hot heat. It's a nice family car that seats four with a lot of leg room. The trunk is super small when you have the power roof down, but when it's up, it's a nice size that you can do a lot of shopping and put bags in easy. It has a nice fancy wood trim all inside, with nice feet mats for easy cleaning.
Story
Taking the car down the shore with the top down and my hair flying in the air!
Pros
The roof is electric and goes down very easy.
Cons
A little high priced but way worth every dime.
