I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix that I have owned for a little over 3 years. I bought it used and it has been a great little car. It has a spacey back seat for kids and a large, deep trunk. It has been dependable, reliable and runs well for a used car. My payment is low due to it being a used car and the gas mileage is decent. It has a large gas tank so it holds a lot of gas. I also love the color of the paint which is a metallic, greenish blue. It changes colors depending on how the sun is shining. From blue, to green, to purple.
Pros
Large back seat. Large trunk that holds a lot of groceries. Decent gas mileage. Cruise control is nice. I love the lumbar support in the driver's side seat. The color of the car is awesome. I would describe it as a morph color. Switches depending on the sun from a green to a blue to a purple. I like the body shape and style of the car. Also love the fact that I can hear the engine when I apply the gas.
Cons
It could have better gas mileage in comparison to the hybrids and/or newer models that are out there. It does have a V6 engine so that could explain that. Right now, the paint on the hood is beginning to wear off which means I will either have to repaint the hood and/or the entire car. I heard this is a pretty common thing to have happen to these types of cars from the early to mid 2000's. All in all, it's a great car for what I paid. I will consider a Pontiac again in the future.

I purchased this car when I turned 18 , I am now 25 and I still have it and plan to keep it for many more years to come. I am truly amazed at how great it's kept up! I haven't had to do any major repairs aside from the usual oil change or tire change. I have made the best memories with this car, from my high school graduation to my college graduation, to my wedding, and pretty soon I'll be installing the first car seat in it. I feel sage and confident in this car which is truly important. Something that is also important to me is appearance and this car truly is beautiful!
Story
My boyfriend and I drove to Florida in this car, it was so much fun driving across the country making memories. My car ended so dirty and with so many bugs in the windshield but it was worth it !
Pros
This car makes me feel safe and comfortable. It's cute and practical which is a big plus. The reason my dad recommended this car is because it's reliable. Another pro is that it is American made which makes repairs much cheaper.
Cons
I truly can't think of any negative things about this car, except that the interior stains easily.

My cousin knows one of the partners. I went to school with one of the partners. They gave me a fair price. They worked with me on payments. When this car is paid for, they guaranteed that they would buy it back from me or accept it as a trade-in on a future purchase.

First of all, the staff was very friendly. The salesman I spoke with was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure to find the vehicle that genuinely suited my needs and lifestyle, rather than trying to make a sale. All of the high-pressure salesman tactics you can expect from a car dealership, were not present at this one. The dealership provided a very comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a car to visit Hillside Motors in Schererville.
