2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Owner Ratings & Reviews

2006 Pontiac Grand Prix -
The 2006 Grand Prix was an overall solid car. I appreciate the power the car had. Whether I was accelerating on the highway, or from a stop light, the car would speed up beautifully. Also it was extremely roomy, with a really well laid out interior. The sound system was great and had a lot of bass in its stock speakers. It had enough of a growl to sound impressive, yet quite enough to enjoy a long ride.
Story
I remember coming out of class one night and a fellow class mate looking over and seeing my car. She said - "You have a pretty sharp car." I felt like the man, even though I only spent $5,000 for the car. It looked like it was worth so much more.
Pros
I enjoyed the power the car came with, as well as the dependability of the motor. I also enjoyed how the car's interior was laid out. The car really came to life at night, as all the instruments light up beautifully, allowing you to easily find your way around. The car's seating was also very comfortable, even allowing car seats to be attached to the back seats. So to, the car's stereo system came with a lot of natural bass.
Cons
One of the only things I didn't like about the 2006 grand prix was the inability to add any smart technology to the car. You didn't have any way to play music over your phone, or make calls over the cars speakers. In this way the car was very bare. While the car's speakers produced a healthy amount of base, the stereo itself was pretty basic. And this was true in the higher end models as well.
2006 Pontiac Grand Prix - Great value
My vehicle is a gold 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. It is a great car, and I've only had a few issues with it so far. The color is nice as its not too flashy and matches the interior. The interior is black and gold, so the overall color scheme of the car is uniform. It has signs of wear and tear, but it has not been in any major accident, so most of the original parts of the car are still intact. My windows are tinted to keep most of the sunlight out.
Story
Due to my car having great acceleration, sometimes I get drivers who believe they can outrace my car on the highway, but I usually win in the end. I don't travel at dangerous speeds, however.
Pros
The car is really good on gas. It has a mpg of 20 for city and 30 for highway, so I won't have to worry about stopping for fuel too often. It is a six cylinder and has really nice acceleration. I can get to 60 mph in just a few seconds. The brakes are good. I can stop without worrying about if I have enough distance ahead of me. The car is very spacious. It has a large interior for the driver and passengers in the front and back. It has a large a spacious trunk, which allows me to carry a lot of items such as groceries, luggage, or tires. The car seems like it will last a long time as it a... (more)
Cons
There's no navigation or any type of GPS system built in. I prefer cars with some sort of GPS system and a way to link your cellphone.
