2004 Pontiac Grand Prix - Reliable but has its quirks
The car drives really smoothly. There are no interior rattles, and it has almost 170,000 miles now. The interior is sleek, but the CD player didn't even work when I purchased it.
The gas mileage is good. It gets about 30 mpg on the highway. The air conditioner is great, works fast. The window parts are a problem, though. Apparently they aren't made anymore, so they're expensive if they need replaced.
Story
I was driving downtown and my car started beeping at me. It started shut off and I had to put it in neutral and basically roll into a random parking lot. It had overheated. I had to call my aunt and uncle to come help me.
Pros
It drives really smoothly and the air conditioner is amazing.
Cons
The windows aren't reliable. I've had to get 2 parts replaced and it's cost me over $300 each time. It also overheated once two summers ago.
2004 Pontiac Grand Prix - Gets great gas mileage and is comfortable to drive and ride in
I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. It has been one of the best cars I have ever owned. I get fantastic gas mileage and it has held up very well over the yrs. It has minimal rust on the body and I haven't had to have any major work done to it since I bought it in 2006. Engine has over 120,000 miles and still does not burn any oil and runs great. The only down side is that the backseat is not the most comfortable to ride in for any length of time.
Story
None that I can think of
Pros
Gas mileage and engine wearability
Cons
Only one if the backseat not being very comfortable
