This car is a solid performer. It is a 4-door sedan with a v6 engine. It is stylish for being a sedan. It goes amazingly well in the snow and I have not had any problems in the years I have had it. It could be better on gas, as I am a commuter and have to fill the tank up more than I like. The inside is basically what you would expect from any mid sized vehicle. It is more sporty with the two bucket seats in the front and a bench seat in the back. The ride is smooth and comfortable. The cruise control buttons initially were confusing to use. The display where on the screen it shows your oil life and power steering fluid is difficult to reset if you do not have instructions how to do it. I did replace the factory radio with a model I purchased myself as it did not really have much funct... (more)
Story
I was trying to get up my very icy driveway in this vehicle. Although it goes well in the snow, I couldn't get it up the driveway without 4wd. I ended up using kitty litter under the front tires!
Pros
It goes well in the snow. It looks nice. The trunk has a lot of cargo space.
Cons
It is not the greatest on gas. Sometimes the controls require you to read the manual in order to use them, they aren't self-explanatory.

The standard model 2009 Pontiac G6 is not going to blow anyone away with its power, speed or handling. Heck, it's not even the most spacious vehicle out there. But it gets the job done. You want cold air to blow on a 100 degree August day? Give it two minutes and you're chilled to the bone. How about some heat on a -15 degree January morning? Take it for a quick spin around the block. Or better yet, just use the remote starter for 10 minutes while you stay in the comfort of your own home.
Story
When I was purchasing the vehicle, I noticed that the VIN had my birthday listed in it. It convinced me the vehicle was my destiny.
Pros
It handles the cold, northern USA winters like a beast. It has no problems powering through the snowy hills at all. It also gets alright gas mileage for a vehicle its age. Trunk space is good, too. I have no problems fitting two full golf bags and a couple travel bags in there.
Cons
The low front end causes the hood to get quite a few nicks on it from stones being kicked up on the road. The front grille also stays wet, which causes it to have a couple rusty lines running down away from it across the front bumper. Unfortunately, it's not blessed with Bluetooth audio. This requires a hands free device to use a mobile phone in the vehicle. Rear seating space has left a little to be desired, as well.

I felt that the salesman really was honest with me about the best deal and the best car as far as maintenance and mileage issues he did not care about the price the one I was looking at was $2000 dollars more he told me this was a better car for me and I am very satisfied so far I have not had any problems with my vehicle.

Very helpful salespeople. Felt like I was getting a great deal and not like I was being pushed to hard to buy. They didn't give the hard sell, they just were helpful and friendly. I appreciate the time they spent with us and the assistance they offered as we tried to decide on a particular model of vehicle.
